Not a happy bunny this morning.. through no fault of mine.. my debit card would not work in either the cab or flashpoint.. Driver rightly was annoyed fayre was only £6.40.. I've been in touch with my bank no block on the card.. so must be a fault with the chip..I am a very disabled lady and was using yellow cabs for the last 8 yrs regularly.. I have osteo arthritis.. muscular skeletal problems and epilepsy as well as autism/Adhd.. I have just rang the cab office 2 explain situation...and suggested that it bevin drivers interests to pick me up and take me to town to the bank so I can pay him while he waits outside.. I understand reluctant to do so but I'm hardly a shady character !! Most of the drivers know me and I always tip.
I will NOT be using them again now ever..my family own several large business 1 a well established care agency in Llansamlet.. I will be telling all the carers and office staff over Xmas this story and seeing what they think about it.. to say " Disgusted".. is not a big enough word to use.... !!Not a reflection on the drivers at all but the policies .. in certain circumstances.. like this they should take mitigating factors in2 consideration.. I now have to struggle to get in2 town.. if this guy had picked me up then he would have had his money as soon as id taken it out of the bankHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sam M.Northwest Washington, Washington, DC, United States0112 Mar 2022
We had prebooked two cabs, one to take us to the location and one to bring us back home. Both were cancelled for no reason before the time that the cabs were booked for. After calling the company up they suggested that we had not answered the cab drivers calls and therefore it was our fault. However, we never received a call from either driver and we're standing at the pickup location both times at least 10 minutes before.
Not only were we left without a cab late at night when we just wanted to get home, we are both young women so this obviously an unsafe situation for us to be in. In the end we booked a cab with a different company.
I would recommend staying away from this company at all costs.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (BushGi…)London19738810814 Oct 2008
Yellow cabs is a slightly better place to wait for a taxi than on the Kingsway with all the plebs. It's a bit more sheltered, and the cabs come along pretty frequently.
I'm always amazed at how cheap taxis are in Swansea - London has ruined my perspective. But these guys are as cheap as the rest.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ross M.Swansea0223 Jan 2015First to Review
I am a local resident & have used yellow cabs for about a year, twice a day, purely because it's the cheapest; until now.
Thought i left something in a cab so contacted their office, in their typical half-arsed manor, they said they would have to call me back in '10 minutes' after they've contacted all their drivers. Obviously they did not, 20 minutes went by, i called back in to see if they had found my lost item in the cab, the most disgusting rude man answered huffing and puffing in his god awful way of speaking 'it's not in the f***ing cab mate!" and hung up. The staff there have always been rough, but their customer service skills should not be a compromise. When someone calls in about a very important lost item, and gets a response so crude and pitiful, it does make you question whether or not they are telling the truth, as someone sounding so ROUGH would keep the item. No doubt they are the least expensive service in city centre, but your definitely paying for the worst service whether it be the drivers, or staff.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sarah R.Swansea035 Aug 2015
Absolutely appalled at the service provided. Booked a taxi, only to see our taxi driver pull up and pull away again within a minute of arrival ( quite literally the time taken to walk from the window where I had been looking out for the taxi from, to the front door). Rang yellow cabs back, to inform them what had happened and to see if that was really our taxi that had driven off, only to be spoken to by an incredibly rude woman with terrible attitude, who later did apologise and admitted that it was likely the driver had gone for the next job as it was further away ( aka more money) however the next available taxi she could offer us was an hours time. would not recommend this service at all.

Reliable and the cheapest cab company I've tried. Not much more to say really!
