What an interesting supermarket. It's huge, two stories tall, and has about 40 cashiers. Yup, no joke, 40 cashiers. You don't see that in the US, and they even have self service!

It's a pretty typical grocery store, but it's very large, so guess what? Selection is going to be huge. Also, some things were really cheap. 1 pound for a whole pie? No joke! There is so much here that's it pretty amazing to think about.

If you're in the area and you want some food that won't break the bank, then this the spot for you!

      REGARDING THE CRAWLEY STORE...

Ok. I don't always believe in giving bad reviews unless really necessary.... but I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with this store.

The customer services 9/10 is SHOCKING. To the point where I'm so angry thinking about it... I might actually write a letter to the big bosses.

The cashiers do not engage with you 9/10... They hardly say hello, they race through scanning as if I'm taking up their time, they mumble the total... I had to LOOK at the screen because all I heard was 57. It was £10.57p. Just basically rudeness, unhelpful, and just no manners. They do not even say thank you! Or when they do, it's a mumble. I get more interaction and fun with the self service and that's saying something!

I simply can't be dealing with that. It's a multimillion pound company, invest in better customer service and if you don't like your job that don't make it so obvious! I don't want to make best mates with the tesco staff everything I go in, but come on. Smile!!!! Acknowledge!!!!!

The layout it extremely bad as well, you've got a aisle of fruit then veg, then fruit again, the veg. I don't know whether I'm coming or going. It's a joke.

Rant ending....Never go unless your desperate... Or there's a zombie outbreak and this store is a safe place to hid.

What a very good place. You can find many different things and the quality is very high . It is cheap too and there is a big area where you can park the car.

I love these stores. I wish they had these types of stores in the US. The stores are stocked up with grocery items (fruits, veggies, bread), prepackaged meals, magazines, snacks, drinks, candies, and more. When I was in London for a month, I visited a Tesco two to three times a week. They have many of these stores throughout London and are located in highly populated areas. It makes it very convenient to buy a few items. Some of the stores were opened 24 hours.

This is my local supermarket and I must admit, it one of the better tescos i've been to. It has recently been refurbished and now its a Tesco Extra which now contains a top floor which sells clothes, entertainment, CDs/DVDs/mobiles, home things and if all that shopping is a bit tiring, you can always have a little rest in the Costa Coffee! The aisles in this Tescos are a lot bigger and you are never short of trolleys, even when its busy. There is ample parking.

I love this store even though I do not do my main weekly shop here. This store is enormous, it has 2 floors. In the ground floor you have a great variety and diversity of comestibles, all very well priced. On the top floor, you have clothing, Dvd's, a good range of Televisions, Dvd players, bicycle's accesories, etc. You can almost be certain to find what you looking for in this massive store. It is always clean and the check outs are always manned just right according to the level of customers visiting the store. It has free ample parking. Another good point is that when you spend £50, you get 5p per litre of petrol. If you have a Tesco loyalty card, you can get further discounts and points which ultimately can make a big difference when all added up
