Hometown Pizza

HOMETOWN PIZZA & PASTA IS FABULOUS! I have been eating there for 20 years. The original owners were wonderful, John & Becky. Now the new owner Sarah is just as good as she worked there for many years before purchasing.
The food is fabulous; homemade bread with every meal. The salad bar is a favorite of mine: greens are cut, crisp and cold. there are many options of meat, and fresh veggies. Salad dresssings homemade!
There entrees are also great....pasta dishes, salads and yummy pizza.
Enjoy a good glass of vino and relax in the fun atmosphere.

I bought a house near Oroville during height of covid. At first I would go in for breakfast sandwich & 2 Ice Cold Coors Light in a frosty mug.

After a few times I had a nice conversation with the only waitress Sarah. I'm pretty sure she only talked to me because she was bored & I was the only one there! (Come on she's super nice as well as beautiful!)

Maybe 2 years later I asked how it was going & I thought she was going to say she was quitting but then Sarah said she was actually taking over from the former owners. Oh thank the Lord!

Since then I have eaten there MANY times & Got Pizza to Go MANY times. Sarah challenged me to have the Chicken Sandwich with Franks Hot Sauce! EXCELLENT. I have eaten many other things including Lazzagna & The Beef Strog. when available.

I miss talking to Sarah as much but she is BUSY and working extremely hard to run a restaraunt! Anyone who has run any small business knows how difficult that is to do. I am super impressed by her!

As a "new" westie transplant I go out of my way to support local businesses. I've run a small business & we had to fold it after 2 years.

To any nay sayers maybe be a little less harsh ? Oroville isn't an easy place to keep a business going.

I will go get a Pizza & Lassagna Tuesday just to help counter any dislike of HT Pizza! IDK many business people but Sarah is amazing and deserving of local support for sure! (As are her employees also!)

I only give the Hometown Pizza & Pasta four stars, because the dining room was a little too dark for my taste, which made it hard for my old eyes to read the menu. However, that is my only complaint, as the food and the service were top notch! My wife and I enjoyed the pizza with the works, and it was a bit of heaven! The crust was delicious, with just the right balance of of crispy and chewy texture. They also have a wide variety of other menu items, and a case full of sweet baked goods, too. If you get the chance to visit Oroville, I highly recommend that you stop in here for a bite.

The food is always consistent and yummy. Fresh baked donuts, cookies and cakes all day long. The new owner super nice as well as the staff.

I've only been here twice, and I personally think that's enough for me, it really wouldn't be hard to clean up around there, especially the donut case and all the flies... A smile every once in awhile from the workers would be nice too.

We really enjoy the pizza! Great prices and service. The crust was delicious and lots of toppings. It's our favorite pizza place! Good value!!

Maybe the best breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten? It was well constructed, hot and had amazing flavors. I ordered the sausage on a croissant. It came on what looked like a ciabatta roll, which I was not thrilled initially. But it was a in house super soft and flaky version that is perfect size and shape for a sandwich. I shall return to try some more topping combinations.

Delish border town pizza joint literally has some of the best pizza I have had in Washington. I must stop when going thru Oroville. Delightful staff as well as yummy bakery for am treats or evening desserts

The pizza here used to be excellent, now it's only ok. We actually had a pizza from Papa Murphy's a few days after our visit here and thought it was better. If you dine here, stick to the pizza - my companion had the Beef Stroganoff and it was horrible- no sauce, tough meat, a real disappointment.

We came out to oroville for a job we got in camaray hotel.
We work for Servpro from tri city's my co workers and I enjoyed every last bite great food!! The staff was helpful with all questions we had and atended us awesomely. We definitely would recommend this place when visiting this beautiful small town OROVILLE!!!! Thank you guys
