My wife and I have lived all over the US and have never experienced that 'home town' feel that we get from Frontier Foods in Oroville. We've been shopping there exclusively for almost 5 years now and we've never had a bad experience.
If you're on a special diet and/or they don't carry a specific food item, you can ask Pat, Stephanie, or Allen and they'll get it in for you.
If you have a meat question or need a pound of tenderloin, Jesus from the meat dept is your man; he's super cool and gets right on top it.
Need a particular type of fruit or veg? Ask David or Brandy. They're both very friendly and knowledgeable.
Have a recipe question or need to know which ethnic ingredient is the best? Just ask Heidi. She's a sweetheart and knows how to cook.
Just need an awesome attitude with a simple purchase? Well everyone here so far has been awesome to us, so shout out to everyone mentioned already, plus sweet Debbie, Michael, Junior, Abbi, and the rest of the folks whose names we can't remember!

Low prices and good food can't beats the meat prices

Frontier Foods is my go-to place for groceries and supplies when I am in Oroville. Love that it is a local independent rather than part of some national chain. Always enjoy shopping here.

The have pretty good deals, has Western Family products. Check the dates on the meats as sometimes they are past pull dates, and they do not refund on bad produce!
The cashiers are all very nice and friendly.

Frontier Foods has the best customer service! Pat will make sure if something you want isn't carried, that it gets ordered. They also have a fantastic floral department and provide take out foods and party trays! Great produce and meat departments too! RV parking across the street for everyone's convenience.

This is long overdue since our wedding was April 30, 2016 and we've been so busy with our hectic life since then with the wedding, honeymoon and then moving to our new house, yet I feel so appreciative and thankful that I have made this a priority to get done. Back in May, I searched for stores with floral departments around Tonasket and came up with only a couple options. From my very first contact with Angela at Frontier, I knew I was in good hands. I told her I was going DIY/inexpensive and researching normal flower bouquets like you would find any day in a floral department, which I would use as my wedding flowers and my wedding bouquet. She described their current floral arrangements to me and even sent me a picture so I could make a decision. I pre-ordered for pick-up a couple days before the wedding and when I picked them up, she and another employee were right there to assist, very happily I might add. It was like they were long time friends. Everyone was excited for us. I loved the hometown feel and genuine care expressed from the get-go to pick-up. The bouquets were just what they described and actually even prettier than I anticipated! They were reasonably priced and lasted a long time! We got married at Bonaparte Lake Resort 4/30 and these flowers lasted another week+ through Mother's day which made even more people happy and beautified the restaurant for a lot longer than we even imagined. Thank you Angela, Frontier Foods, and the flower suppliers!

My number one store for my little town (: ill shop here before anywhere else. Iv never once had a problem here with anything.

I have had so many of their clerks make so many mistakes on my grocery bills. Usually they apoligize and fix the wrong priced items. But this last time the clerk was extremely rude and even added things we didn't have and then blamed me as a customer for being rude to her. I have been asked not to come into the store anymore. And I won't . If you do shop at this inferior store; make sure they are charging you for the things you bought and not a lot of other stuff. The manager there looks like he hates everyone. My advise would be just drive up the road to Princes where you will shop in a clean pleasent place with friendly people dressed to identify their employment.
