I have been looking for an everyday purse for a while now. While I was in London, I scrolled thru Yelp for shopping areas and I discovered that Burberry had an Outlet here!
I found the perfect purse at a great price for a designer purse. This store has a great selection of purses, accessories, and clothes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The reason I am writing this review is let people know that the Wi-Fi is not the best in this area of town. I had to wait in the store to call Uber because as soon as I walked outside I lost coverage. Both drop off and pickup had to be done on the main street and not in front of the Burberry Outlet.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 12 Mar 2019
Need a Burberry trench-coat but not willing to shell out $2000?
Then come here to the outlet store where their coats sell for about a fraction of that price. I'm talking a fifth of the original price. They also sell other Burberry items like sunglasses, scarves, umbrellas, and clothing items. I already have an Aquascutum trench and don't need another one, but if I ever do, I'll come here.
Things are laid out cleanly and spaciously and the sales associates are quite friendly.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Desiree N.Singapore, Singapore43737923842 Jan 2020
3 stars because this is no longer a great deal for Burberry shopping. It used to be a warehouse like , sample sale type of outlet where you can find 60-75% off Burberry product to now just an outlet for decent discounted product.
Not only the discounts weren't as good. The selection of items are also very limited. It used to filled the racks with just piles and piles of items. Not it just got fewer style, but easier and nicer store shopping experience. Don't get me wrong, the prices are still fairly decent for outlet and the best part, you can get your tax free right there right then when you purchase them. You only need to turn in your custom stamped approved form to the moneycorp to have them turn in for you.
Selection: it has a store like layout with styles prearranged and by gender and age group. They have decent selection on kids products. Occasionally you can find items at more than 60% off, on less popular color, and sizing at younger age group ( infant to 3 year old). Everything else it's mostly 30% - 50% off. ( While during after Christmas sale, online is running 50% off on more current items). That's why it's not too much of a deal breaker. I do love the kids selection because you can find good prices on smaller sizes and that makes a good, impressive baby shower gifts for your friends and family at a lesser cost. Or else the signature trench coat and signature colors are barely on discount and are likely to be out of sizes.
Staff: I thought staff were great, helpful. They tried to help and look for sizes for you. But due to the amount of people there, it still require quite some wait time. About 20+ min for an item look up.
Demographic: it's definitely tourists. Majority, including myself, are from out of country, looking for vat free deals on luxury product. But since there are still very good samples sales and outlets easily access from LA. This is not exactly my happy shopping heaven.
Location: it is quite far out from the heart of town. About 40 mins Uber ride. And there isn't much more other shops in the area. So if you debate if you wanted to hike out just for discounted Burberry, depending if you have extra day to spare and if you really love the brand.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Catherine A.Washington, DC, United States44942130 Jun 2022
Crazy expensive for a "factory shop"! Staff was nice and store is nice as well, hence 2 stars

If you're looking for a classic trench in common sizes, whether for men or women, you can save hundreds of pounds by heading over here.
We were a bit nervous that we'd be easily spotted as Asian tourists heading to Burberry but it was a quick walk from the Tube station (Hackney Central) and we got directions from a nearby store. You cut through a Tesco parking lot but from there it's about 2-3 blocks away.
The staff was helpful and multilingual. Credit cards accepted. They help explain the VAT rebate.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ada C.Denver, United States72813915 Jun 2017
Came here last month and it seemed like they had just restocked - it's pretty easy to get to the store from Hackney Central station and there are other stores nearby. Snagged a trench for 700 GBP for my mom and a quilted jacket (from 2-3 seasons ago) for myself for 319 GBP. They also had plenty of belts ranging from 99 GBP and up, and plenty of small leather goods and shoes. Their jewelry and small accessories range from 79 GBP and up, but the selection is hit or miss depending on what's leftover (ie. there was only one Thomas Bear keychain left when I was there). Not as many bags as I'd expected, but they do restock from the full-priced retail stores regularly. They also have an extra 'clearance' section in the back, which I'd recommend checking out first, they mark down items the longer they've been in the store though the common sizes (US 4-8) tend to go first.
If you are visiting and plan to claim your VAT refund, they have a new system at this location that will allow you to not pay the VAT at all - as long as you bring your passport, use a Visa card and you're departing within a few weeks. You still have to get your receipt stamped at customs, but no more waiting for the refund on your card.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - Jenny S.Huntington Beach, United States945125 Nov 2019
I have visited London several times and have made it out to Bicester Village once (there is also a Burberry outlet there) but never to this outlet. I was only in London for a short visit so I didn't have enough time to make it to Bicester Village which is more of an all day trip since it's outside of London. Since I had some time to kill before I could check into my hotel, I decided to make the 30 minute or so trek to the outlet from Kings Cross.
I had read reviews online about the outlet not being as good in terms of deals and since I'd never been before the "change" it seemed like any other Burberry outlet I've been to. I took the tube down to the nearest station (Hackney) and got a little lost when I turned left. I happened to see a Mark & Spencer so I popped in to pick up a few things. I went back the other direction and cut through a Tesco parking lot and eventually found the store. It's probably about a 5-7 minute walk from the station. I was travelling alone and did feel a bit nervous about the area but I didn't have any incidents. Just be aware of your surroundings.
When I arrived there wasn't a line or wait. The store was pretty empty for a Saturday at 2pm. A security greeted me and I didn't have to check in anything. I was wearing a light jacket and had a small sized bag (Celine Micro Belt bag). The sales associates were very kind of helpful. I was looking for a raincoat but they didn't have it in the color I wanted and I ended up going with a wool coat. Sizing and stock seemed plenty. I did browse around but nothing really caught my eye or seemed like a great bargain. There were no additional sales going on; maybe because this was the end of June? When I checked out, the sales associate asked me if I wanted to apply the VAT refund directly to my purchase amount. She said it was the same as doing it at the airport and I didn't know any better so I told her to go ahead and apply it. I figured one less thing to worry about. Make sure you have your passport to get the VAT refund.
I would come back again in the future but like any outlet you visit, it's hit or miss.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Derry N.London1326121823 Nov 2008First to Review
This place represents for me a testament to how unpredictable living in Hackney can be. Not long after I'd moved to the area, but long enough for me to assume I had seen it all, myself and the girlfriend went for a lazy Sunday stroll. We meandered down Clapton Square, pass the church and across Morning Lane into Chatham Place. Needless to say, given the unedifying surrounds of council estates and blocked-up pubs, we were then shocked to discover a massive Burberry factory outlet, replete with uniformed doormen and a clientele of almost exclusively rich-looking asian people.
Equally needless to mention is the fact that I have yet to purchase anything from the place, despite three visits. There is lots to admire amongst the preppily-styled fine cotton suits, sweaters and shirts, but even Burberry's best 70% discount on their normal prices isn't enough to drag it into my budget.
Ah well... I'll just keep playing the lottery I supposeHelpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rachel L.Sharpsburg, United States125562210 Sept 2018
The workers were of no help! They never asked to start a fitting room. You can only take 4 things in the dressing room. They want to still charge high prices, but yet you don't get the service as if you were actually at a Burberry store. Don't waste your time visiting this place. Stay in London and shop at the flagship!!

Much cheaper than the normal stores with much of the collection still new. Staff was also very helpful. Would come again next time I'm back in the UK.
