Whether attending a formal function, enjoying a drink after work or relaxing over the weekend, I am yet to walk away from Hotel du Vin feeling anything other than happy and to be honest, a little spoilt by the attention received.
Upon entrance, you are welcomed by a classical bar - essentially a Champagne Bar but hosting a selection of spirits, rum in particular, which is unequalled in Birmingham.
Across the reception is the Bistro / Restaurant which is remarkably good value for money, and always busy, testament to the standard of food.
The Pub du Vin cellar bar has now been laid out as a more traditional bar, and is a perfect place to unwind after work or toake a client at lunch.
Overall, Hotel du Vin caters for all occasions and despite having a deserved reputation as a 'classier' venue, is welcoming to a very diverse population.
Wonderful Venue, could I give it more than 5 stars, I happily would!
