I didn't have a good experience here. No attention to detail. It's not worth the $10.
It's a feeding trough. The centurion lounges are looking a little beat these days compared to other international lounges. I guess they cater to the masses, me included. For the price, they could do better, but it's still nicer than most - except for the invite only first class lounges.
Small space, but a variety of SANPELLEGRINO juices, including a bittersweet orange that grows at the base of Mt Etna. A few croissant choices, and a few more chips and desserts. Filled my HydroFlask with still water from their fridge and used the WiFi to sync a few Kindle books, and make a phone call. All in all, it served its purpose. I do have to take it down a notch because there were zero outlets, and the bathrooms were awful.
Jammed tools into my toes until they were red. I didn't see them clean the tools either. They didn't speak a lick of English. Great foot and leg massage though. Switched in between customers during services. Didn't clean the basins or the dead skin off the floor. Seemed very unsanitary, but my feet feel like butter.
What a difference a day makes! All of the other reviews are spot on. Here's what made our stay great:
-- Immediately welcomed by the staff with a genuine smile and urgency to please.
-- Welcome bubbly at the check-in counter.
-- An offer to join them on the 40th floor for complimentary cocktail and hors d'oeuvre
hour on the observation desk that's normally only open for special occasions.
-- Sparkly clean windows!
-- The bed was plush and comfortable - it wasn't too soft or too hard.
-- Binoculars on the desk.
-- An old-timey thermostat which was probably the coolest thing I've seen in any hotel room around the world. I don't know why I was enamored by it, but I was tickled by it.
-- A sky bridge with floor to ceiling windows with views in both directions.
-- Superb bay view from the Pier 27 on the right all the way around and beyond the Golden Gate bridge with everything in between - Coit Tower, Alcatraz, TransAmerica, Fisherman's Wharf.
-- Water bottles at check-out, and an offer to call a cab.
