Went for a late lunch on a weekday, we were the only people there. Excellent meat, cooked to perfection and superbly crisp crisp chips served in a plant pot.
Easily in the same league as the nearby Argentine steak house, and about 30% less expensive.
Can't wait to go back and have the rib roast to share :)

Pretty appalling! Tacos looked like they had been prepared many hours earlier, let's be clear about this; a taco shell *should not* be soft and dissolving around the beef. While we are here one other thing to explain, a BBQ steak *does not* mean a pan fried steak swimming in barbecue sauce...

Wow, what an awesome lunchtime secret. Great food, entertainingly stereotypical Italian staff - feels like you walked into a basement in old Siena.

Book early, tables are difficult to come by. Make sure you have plenty of disposable income too, because it wont be cheap.

Bubble tea made in a laboratory, it's pretty good - gotta pick the right flavour though!

So after waiting 20 minutes for a 'reserved' table, watching a completely chaotic front-of-house try to deal with three couples arriving simultaneously, next to the door which didn't quite close properly - creating a howling, icy-cold gale which encircled the small, packed restaurant. I really wasn't expecting much.
However, after cunningly choosing the only table in the place which wasn't in the breeze, we had superb, ninja-like service from our waiter who brought two excellent steaks, perfectly cooked coupled with a superb Argentine Malbec.
The 4-star rating shows how good the food was, even to forget the rather rocky outset.

Wagamama food is always pretty good, this is consistent around all of the franchises. The only thing they can really get wrong is the service. When you wait 20 mins to catch the waitress in a half full restaurant, then the food arrives before your drink...sorry, automatic fail!

They hadn't, it is still a pretty average takeout, better than McDonald's but not exactly a shining example of a burger.
