Fantastic. That's all I can say. My taste buds were doing the equivalent of an irish jig in Morris men outfits during my session with the schmalznudel and at the end of its short life I wanted to order 2 more but I resisted...its damn annoying that they close in the evenings cause I neeeeed one, now.

Probably one of the best watering holes in the area. Haven't been here for a few years and just happened by tonight so popped in and had a lovely burger washed down with lots of beer. Normally a busy place with nice seating by the bar for those too impatient to order from a waiter/ess. Reasonably priced traditional fare and good service.

I used to come to this area in the late 70's to visit borough auctions (are they still around? I don't know) where you could get some interesting antique jewelry pieces at fantastic prices. Anyway, I have recently visited the place and boy has it changed. It feels like an upmarket Greenwich market and it has a great buzz to it. I could spend hours walking around here and I thoroughly recommend it if you are in the area and have a few hours to kill.

I have been to Wasabi a couple of times for lunch and I really must recommend their bento box lunch. Less then €10 and just over with an asahi dry.
Although I live practically around the corner, I have never been in the evening. I have heard only good things from friends who have visited but I need to try for myself. However, if you want a bento lunch box, I don't think you could do better in Munich.
