What a delightful way to spend a Sunday afternoon or evening! If it's true that Opera Pro Cantanti is the only repertory opera company in Canada, we need more repertory opera companies. The sets are more dramatic and the seats are more comfortable in large professional operas, but being mere feet away from the performers creates its own magic. Can't wait for the pandemic to be over and the performance schedule to resume.

On our visits to Café Gratitude, we asked for advice, and tried several items. All four staff (servers & hosts) steered us away from items we were interested in and toward the exact same other menu items. Different staff, same recommendations. On our first visit we took their advice and ordered the recommended items. They did not disappoint. We then went back and ordered the items we'd originally wanted and you know what? We found out why they'd steered us away from those items. For example, they told us to get the Margherita pizza, not the Hawaiian. Boy were they right. Hawaiian tastes like it's covered in BBQ sauce, not marinara as indicated. In short, there are many good items on the menu and the servers know which ones those are, so take their advice. The tiramisu was delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Very friendly servers, fairly long wait, delicious vegan authentic Italian pizza at a fairly reasonable price. Our pizza had Daiya cheese, which we aren't big fans of, but just the right amount so as not to affect the overall flavour--nicely done. This place knows how to make pizza. Worth a visit, vegans.

We arrived well before 6:00 p.m. Our server was friendly and competent. Based on the server's recommendation, we ordered the gyoza and two of their best specialty rolls. The jumbo crispy vegan gyoza were very good. The rolls were very creative and nicely presented, but not especially delicious and took 45 minutes to arrive. This restaurant has a lot of creative vegan options and I would recommend it, provided you are not in a rush and not on a tight budget.
