"HOLY S***!" were the first words out of my husband's mouth when we stepped in to this place. He is a mega-miniature gaming nerd. So this place looks like a Mecca to him. I'm sure he'll be spending many afternoons and evenings here...

The actual shop is neatly organized, from classic games, your usual favorites (several versions of Monopoly, Catan, etc.), and then TONS of miniature games. There really is something for everyone!

I'm glad that SD has a good and affordable kebab place! For the price, location, and food, all in all it's a good experience. My favorite thing I had were the felafels. They're conveniently bite-sized... so I could just keep popping them into my mouth.  But I didn't have my socks blown off or anything, but still satisfied.

(But that's because I live in a Middle-eastern neighborhood in London.)

After moving to London, and being away for 2.5 years... I was going through taco withdrawals.

Tacos El Gordo is the place I DREAM ABOUT. Their tacos are the ones I crave! Each one is crafted by experts and lovingly made. These people KNOW what they're doing! And this is definitely the most spacious compared to the other locations. My favorite is the tripe. A perfect blend of textures and taste. It's so good I could cry!

Try every taco if you're daring... order one of each if you're hungry! I eat at least 6 to get my fill. I have to get my fix while I'm still in town!

After spending a month backpacking through Korea, I will make this review short and sweet... Korean food with a modern touch! Lots of genuine Korean spices and combinations, with creative touches! I will definitely be back to get my fill.

This place is rough around the corners, but I guess that's what attracted my husband to this place. Everyone who works here seems to be a character.

Even though this place has its rough edges, what it lacks in charm it makes up for in quantity! Though the quality is okay. Be careful while sifting through the salad bar! Some of it looks old, but at least the hummus and tabouli are delish. And their burgers are larger than life, so come on a very empty stomach!

I am definitely THE person to write this review. I've been here at least twice a week for the past year! Since it's close to where I work, it's my usual spot.

They have an awesome lunch special! A hot meal for only £3.70! Plus a drink will only take you back less than £5. You really can't beat that. They have about 20 small main dishes to chose from, and then you chose a side of rice, chips, sauteed potatoes, or salad. Though the mains can vary in quality, it never fails to satisfy me. My usual is the spare ribs with chips. Lots of meat and carbs that carry me on through the day.

It can get quite busy here during lunch. Probably because it's the only nice sit-down restaurant that isn't middle eastern. They are also very welcoming to parents and babies. They are breast-feeding friendly. So sometimes you have to dodge your way past kids and strollers to get to table! It's well worth it. Though the ambiance is nothing special, but they do decorate it quite nice and romantically for dinner time.

It's probably not worth traveling all the way out to Walthamstow for, but it's clear why this place is a local favorite! Great food, great prices, and an all around cozy place!

It takes a bit of effort to get here from where I live, but I don't know if it's worth traveling out for. But if you're in the area, there's no harming in giving into your sweet tooth. After noticing all the Chez Panisse stuff around, and learning that the owner of Violet use to be the pastry chef there, I had high expectations. After eating at Chez Panisse, and the Chez Panisse Cafe, I was super excited to have a taste of these Violet cakes.

I've only been here once, hence the 3 star rating. The salted caramel cupcake I had was okay. Nothing spectacular. Just okay. But I do love that they have a great selection of drinks to accompany all their treats.

But trust me, I'll be back to give them another try! There's so much to chose from! I need to try their Christmas pudding, their whoopie pies, they also have little Oreo cookie look-a-likes, an endless selection of cupcakes.... it could go on forever.

Since my husband's been painting miniatures, I'm here more often than I'd like to be.

I don't have too much of a problem with it though, because it's fun just to look in to all the cases. It's almost museum like. They have everything from famous figures -- Star Wars toys, then there are vintage-esque models of cars and trains, and tons of showcases filled with small cars. Despite my ignorance of this hobby, I still have fun peeking into the cases.

While I'm wandering about the shop, the staff are happy to answer all of my husband's questions about priming, painting, and finishing figures. They are quite knowledgeable chaps!

I think like most of the reviews here, my husband and I came on some kind of coupon deal. And that's what these coupon deals are for, to try out new places you wouldn't have otherwise. We came here in the hopes it would turn into one of our "special occasion" restaurants... we left very underwhelmed.

Firstly, the service was horrible. Given that it was easy to spot people who were there on this coupon deal, the staff weren't even trying to impress anyone -- deal or no deal. Trying to get a staff member's attention left us flailing our arms in the air. Not a very attractive look for us. You would think if they wanted people to come back, they'd try a little harder.

We had a very huge seafood platter, which would've cost us £38 each, but was discounted with the voucher. Though we were quite overwhelmed with the variety, selection, and quantity of the seafood... it was all kind of bland tasting. And all they gave you was a mayo and vinegar sauce. For that much I was expecting a little more "oomph."

Nice try Le Bouchon Breton, but we won't be back.

I know that service is not a top priority in most places, but sometimes I can't help but yell, "COME ON!"

It was busy for a Wednesday night, but our waitress was not trying to make her life easier in any way. We seated ourselves at a dirty table. And it took 10 whole minutes for it to be cleaned. It took 30 whole minutes to get our beer. And our food came out 10 minutes after that! And to top it off they mixed up our order. And you know that situation when EVERYONE else is getting served before you even when they arrived later? Yeah, it was like that the whole evening.

*Sigh* But despite all these things, I'm planning to come back! After spending a month in Korea, this is the best I've come to great bibimbap. Hopefully, they hire more people before I go back!
