      1 check-in

I'd go 3.5 stars if I could. Great concept, super great staff but the food wasn't mind blowing. I got the Shrimp and grits - grits were a little runny but the bacon was great. The poached egg was done in a pod - which felt strange for a restaurant.
My friend said I HAD to get the Mac and cheese - and I see why - it was incredible.
Their espresso was a little sour - so not my fav.
There was no wait on a rainy Saturday morning - and the atmosphere was great! Can't say enough about how sweat the staff was - I felt like I was in the south.

Called to make a ressie bc online I couldnt make it for 2 people. The person was super nice, I got 2 mid level pedicures.
The spot itself is a surprise upon walking in. It's huge and has a super nice interior. Check in was clunky - it took a few min for someone to acknowledge me and then they asked me to check in (on an iPad). When I asked where the colors were to pick he was surprised i wanted a color. And then I had to walk through a few people (irritatedily) waiting to pick a color. Then we sat for 30 min. This was my friends first pedicure and she was like ...? Is it always like this?

We finally get seated 30 min past the appointment time and no lie - waited another 30 min in the chair. We waited so long that the water literally got cold. At this point someone else came up and asked if we wanted a drink. I asked how much longer it would be as we'd now been there 50+ min. He asked and said another 20-30 - so we left. Pretty disappointing. Can't say I'll be back. I understand thinks happen but at no point did anyone check in with us, try and keep us comfortable, update us or try and salvage the situation. I'll stick with my usual spot in Lacey I guess.

Love the concept here but it seems all of it is a work in progress. The positives: great facilities, plenty of parking and spacious, well maintained courts. The staff is sweet. And they come around while you're playing to ask about food and drinks - nice touch.

      The cons:
      - No wifi

      - Music played just loud enough to know it's there but too quiet to be engaging - so it's a white noise layer that's annoying

-Check in and registering is clunky and takes a while before you can even look at what's available. Why do you need my emergency contact before I book something?

      - The waiver link is also bad online

      - Online reservations are .... Confusing at best
You can't tell what courts are available and what's inside or outside. So I've ended up calling each time I want to play - put on hold, having them manually type everything in, etc ... just tedious. Why would I book an outdoor court in the PNW in rainy season? I mentioned that last time I called the person was like WHOA WE NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT, I'll say something ... so there's hope.

      - you can't book out farther than a week it seems.

The restaurant has a great set up, and good niche/gimmick with the rotisserie- but like everyone else has said - it's not great.

      - their socials are also messy - always changing classes, names, types, etc... - like I said it's all seemingly a work in progress.

Big picture they are presenting everything like everyone is a pro pickleballer and not a casual player or beginner. It's not a great system for folks trying to get into the world at all - which seems short sited for such a big place. Besides - everyone's money spends the same - why not draw in some newbies?

I'm siked for this place being so close to me and hope they can keep getting better - it's a great concept and I want to go more often - they just make that hard.

I've had to use this place dozens of times over the years for print, shipping and presentation materials. The pros: there's always parking and the self serve machines are always working. The cons: needing to engage an employee for any reason. I know it's not a sexy job but wow it's as if there's a secret award for Most Apathetic. The last time I was there I needed to print on specialty paper literally 2 different employees just kinda shrugged and mumbled "directions" for a self serve machine. The place was EMPTY. They were chatting behind the counter. I finally said "hey I don't work here. I'm happy to play around on these machines until it's right but I'm not paying for any of it." and they just shrugged. I dread having to go - and I've started driving farther away to a different, more expensive place just to avoid it-

I called these folks on a rental I had in Tacoma. We had some older coin-op machines that just stopped working. It took about a week to get on their schedule and I met Chris at the property. He was great, kind, patient and fixed everything right up. Adding them to my "preferred vendors" list - it was a great experience and reasonably priced.
