Four of us from the UK ate there three times this year. The specials were VERY good value & VERY big portions to us Brits!!.

Good food, having eaten there twice, very nice surroundings & friendly staff, but seems to lack atmosphere which is a shame.
Excellent food, similar to what we would see in France or Italy but without the attitude!!
I had the duck which was excellent , my wife had the Fillet & this too was very good. A little pricey by US standards but worth it for a special evening.

Great view of the Intercoastal. Good Fishing Pier. Short walks to lovely SK Beach & plently of dining options within a couple of miles.

The food was just OK on the two occasions we dined there.
As a visitor from the UK I had it clearly pointed out to, rudely, me on a laminated board ( as if I was the village idiot) that tipping of 15% to 20% in the US was the norm.
WE always tip at least this much in the UK for decent service!
This very crass & clumsy methodology ensured we did not eat there again.
Tourist trap I'm afraid & only it's location in busy Siesta Key Village means that this business succeeds.

I also live several thousand miles away - approx. 3500miles..... & I have to say, as a Brit, their intrepretation of British Fish & Chips is very good indeed!
