24 Mar 2024Updated reviewThis D'Ags is still just wildly overpriced even when compared to pretty fancy places like the nearby Gourmet Garage or Brooklyn Fare. They wanted $10.79 for a big box of Kellogg's Cornflakes that I later bought on FreshDirect for $7.99. It's well-stocked, clean and well-lit but the prices are shocking.

Total rip-off artists. Trust me. As far as I can tell, the entire operation is a scam. They take reservations online but when you arrive for your car, they totally change the terms of the rental and ask you to pay four or five times more than you agreed to. The cars are in disrepair and the guys who work there are surly and unhelpful.

2 Jan 2018Previous reviewThis place was just a total rip-off. We had a pre-paid reservation through AutoEurope (usually a safe bet). When we got to the Firefly place in Cancun they claimed that they did not have our car and tried to get us to take one at nearly double the price. After half an hour of shouting, they changed their story to say that they had our car but that we still needed to pay another $40/day for insurance for loss/theft, although I insisted that my credit card covered this. In the end, the car was in lousy shape too! Most dishonest, scummy car rental place I have ever encountered.
21 Jan 2024They have a really great selection of healthy dog food and are very knowledgable about the subject. Lots of fun toys too -- it's a great place to get a doggy gift.
