The Oathill is a lively and busy bar - especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Other evenings when its quitter you have a better chance to enjoy the setting, the furniture and overall atmosphere. Best of all it has a great selection of beers and drink and the owners seem to really care about the quality of the drinks they serve. We've also eaten there several times and always had a good meal. On the downside it can be a little hot when super busy day - but that's a small gripe.

There is no better location in Market Harborough in the summer. We went there yesterday afternoon for a wonderful Sunday roast / lunch. You can help yourself to just what you want and the service was friendly but not to 'in your face.'

Just as good (if not better) is the waterside setting where you can look out onto the canal.. It was a bit cold for this yesterday but last summer we spend many a happy evening watching the sun set with friends.

They have a great selection of food and whether its for a light lunch, a more formal celebration meal or just a drink we've had lots of great times there. We are bias because our offices are close by so we gent to visit more than most.

Joules Yard is the perfect place to spend a Sunday morning for breakfast or a lazy Saturday afternoon. They do wonderful BBQs and a great selection of drinks. Its a real gem that friends of ours often request to visit when they see us in Harborough. With the summer coming up this the time to make the most of the inside / outside location.

I've been visiting Wainwrights on a regular basis for the past 3 years both at their previous location in the town and now their new(ish) Bennets Place location. They offer a friendly service where the customer always come first. If you've not tried them before I'd highly recommend them.
