A bit pricey for what you get and it's location, owners not too friendly.

Decor is great, food was served quickly although chips and salad came on separate plates not leaving much room  on the table.The starters tasted wonderful as did the main courses but the chips weren't the best (tasted like they were from a fast food outlet) and the salad had no dressing on it.
Due to the large portions served ( a Middlesbrough thing) we had no room for deserts (their lose), one other point tables were to close together or had no screens around to shield the noise/talking from other tables so it was difficult to hear other guests sat at your table.
Would recommend to friends for when it's quieter and warn them about the salad and chips (ask for potato instead).

Great service, polite, checks for stains and asks what they are, puts woollens for dry cleaning (unlike some others that will try an launder them because it's cheaper), items ready on time :-D
