Great Indian food. Affordable and quick service. Staff are always polite.
Yelp labels this one as Ethiopian. From what I can tell it's Mexican. Anyhow, it's a good restaurant - though the Gunwharf restaurant is much nicer. The fajitas are great!
Stayed here in September '09. The best part about the Hotel Metro is the location - round the corner from Macy's and the Empire State Building, off of 5th Avenue and 10 minutes from Times Square.
The room we stayed in was a Queen room. It was very small with barely enough room between the end of the bed and the TV unit.
The hotel staff could be useful and friendly - they at times seemed like we were wasting their time when asking for assistance.
Visited the Metro Grill once. The food was very nice. Never got round to going up to the rooftop terrace - in a city like New York there a far more places we wanted to see.
Overall, not a bad hotel, perhaps a bit overpriced, but in an excellent location.

Been here several times for friend's birthdays. Each time they seem incapable of serving large groups. Some food has obviously been left to go cold while the rest is cooked. What's more it's far overpriced for what you get. If you're in Gunwharf there are far better places to eat than here.
Prezzo serves great Italian food. The pizzas in particular are excellent. The staff are very nice and the service quite quick. If it's a warm, sunny day you can sit outside on the balcony with great views over looking Port Solent harbour and Portsdown Hill.

I visited New York in September ('09) with my girlfriend. We found ourselves visiting Times Square a lot and decided to try Maxie's. What a mistake. I "had" (only consumed 1/3) a cheese and tomato pizza that had disgusting bits of onion underneath the cheese and was decorated with diced carrot! It tasted disgusting. Not helped by the fact it was cold. My girlfriend's spaghetti bolognese, served with stale bread, was equally tasteless.
The waiter queried why neither of us had eaten even half of our meals (as if it wasn't obvious!). To top it off, he then complained that we hadn't tipped him enough!
If you're thinking about eating here - just don't. This place makes Domino's, McDonald's etc feel like you're eating gourmet food.
