Don't Tell Anyone Else But...I don't eat anything that lived in water. I'm such a bad New Englander.
Most Recent DiscoverySnooker. I am apparently quite bad at it, but it was a fun discovery anyway.

Otherwise, standard Starbucks with the added Manhattan premiums ($4 cup of coffee... really?)
I was pleasantly surprised that cereal, toast, coffee, and tea breakfast is included in the price (and I booked on Hostelbookers for about £7 a night.) Beds were clean and comfy.
Compared to the hostels I have stayed in around the world, this place is clean and comfy by a mile. I would definitely stay here again. I am also really happy to take the tour operated by the same people, leaving from the front door here! And having WiFi for free is fantastic (using it right now.)

Well, that might be strong. There is no "they" in reality, but the most basic level of my trust as a consumer in this restaurant has been damaged. Trust is the thing that allows us to make simple transactions without detailed contracts. Advertise a price for specials on domestic beer, serve said beer, and then bring out a higher bill with the claim that "domestic" as defined by company policy only includes products by InBev Anheuser-Busch and SAB (South African Breweries) Miller? Give me a break. Was I supposed to read their minds about how they define domestic or was this intentional misleading advertising? I suppose I was supposed to get more details on the contract; but I expect such exceptions to be pointed out. It is, after all, a contract that they put forward in writing.
I also don't like being quoted "company policy" as though that is somehow an authority above my own. If it weren't for the fact that the person harmed would be the innocent server, I could just as easily say that my own policy is not to pay above listed prices and the civil code would fall in my favour.
I'm a business person. I'm not keen to say the customer is always right. I did, however, change my behaviour based on this advertisement, and ended up with a higher bill than expected because of it, which is illegal if not worth enforcing for such a small relative sum.
I am not happy with this company right now, and it is unfortunate that my only recourse seems to be venting about it on Yelp. Sorry Yelp. You shouldn't have to process my frustrations. If only service environments like this cared to send happy customers out into the world, I wouldn't seek some way to warn others off from the business in unity against my personal conception of unjust economic interactions.
