I like this place .. we go for work meetings .. have a glass of wine and chat ...Ive also had the food which was very tasty, I had mussels and a goats cheese tart... i did however see a mouse running through the bar one evening which is why it doesnt get the 5 stars .... hopefully they have sorted that out as Im back there on Monday to eat in the restaurant ..will let you know how that goes!

I hadnt been to this place for ages then ended up going twice in a week. It is a mental maze of rooms and stairs and trying to find people when it is busy is a nightmare ... however .. when it is busy it has an excellent vibe. There is a downstairs right down bottom that I didnt even know about .. they open it when it gets busy and its a bit like being in a library... well actually only because of all the wood .. the people, noise and boooooooozzeeee make it feel nothing like a library... anyway she babbles .. its great fun, a touch on the pricey side but a great choice of beers and their house champers is a good price!

Check it out!

If there is a large party of you get there early to find a table .. if you are at the very bottom be sure to text people thats where you are as its easily missed and there is no reception

I can only speak to the Pitch and Putt at this place, it was amazing! Beautiful greens, spectacular views and a great walk! We only tried the Pitch and Putt so I cannot talk to anything else.

For a first time golfer it was great fun!

John and Barbara were the hosts with the most!

After spending a few days camping in Cornwall we decided to treat ourselves to another night and stay in a B&B. We had just left it a little late. Most of the B&B's we tried were full. We were then referred to Dimora and we are soooooo glad.

The attention to comfort and cleanliness were above and beyond. The bedding soft and sumptious and the views breathtaking. It is in a quiet spot and over looks the Mawgan Porth bay.

The breakfast was stunning and plentiful, set in a family style dining room. Choices from croissants to the full caboodle! They have 2 rooms a double and a family room and are very reasonable in price for the area.

Such a lovely place and lovely couple, so friendly and accommodating ....we will be back!

We went to Soho Theatre last night to see the comedian Paul Foot. It was Awesome! We were in the downstairs cabaret bar. I have to say it was was on the most intimate yet casual comedy venues ever. I think its my new favorite. You can sit around a table, enjoy being close to the stage and if seeing Paul Foot, enjoy him talking into your shoulder.

I loved it

Will definitely be checking out emerging talent playing here

We visited El Cantana last night before seeing Paul Foot at the Soho Theatre. It was nothing out of this world but was nice. We had the pre theatre menu. sweet potato corquetas and meatballs to start. The meatballs were delish. My other half had the Chicken Tagine for main and i had the chicken skewers. Both were lovely actually.

For 15 each I thought this place was worth the visit.

My friend and I had booked ourselves in for a delux mani and pedi as a huge treat and as a trial for her wedding. whilst my friend was over all happy with the experience - apart from the selection and quality of the nail varnish, I was so disappointed.

Let me tell you why.

On arrival, I was taken to a room that was small, cramped, well used towels on a bed, in dire need of a paint. There did not seem to be a steriliser anywhere.. the petri dishes/lids of creams and scrubs looked like they hadn't been cleaned, the creams themselves looked cheap. So the overall feel of the room was bad to start. The music was kiss fm, not the most relaxing of music to listen to.

When I am paying for a delux service - I expect to get one.

The beautician that was looking after me, although very pleasant, did not seem very experienced.

The nail varnish choice I was given initially was from her own make up bag ... 55 pounds for Rimmel nail varnish???? Then she explained to me that she was sharing everything so she would have to go and interrupt the other beautician to find nail varnish. I was really disappointed by the quality and condition that the varnishes were in.

Everything about the service I received felt like a let down. The pedi spa didnt work so i spent an uncomfortable 45 minutes with my feet in a foot bath with luke warm water and no spa. he made a real mess with the wax, it was going every where so I was worried about her getting it on my clothes.

My hand nails were painted while I was still sat on the bed and the job was very poor. I felt that I was paying for something I could have done so much better myself for a lot less cost. In fact it was so bad that the nail varnish was still not dry 2 hours later and I removed it all - even though it had stained my nails and the area around my nails.

I was happy that when I showed the state of my nails when I paid, that I was given a discount of 10 pnds but really they should not be charging for a delux service when they cannot offer the experience. I get better service at my local nail bar for less than half the price so will not be going back.

I was disappointed, let down and really felt like I had been totally ripped off. I work hard for my money and expected a treat, not an experience that made me feel taken for a ride. I have never paid so
much for a manicure and pedicure and Ive had some lush ones.

UPDATE the owner of the Salon called me, apologised profusely and informed me that they would be addressing all the issues above and had let the young lady go. Hopefully that will improve the service that they give. If anyone goes here, let me know how you get on

Wow ...what a wonderful find! A delectable treat of deliciousness!

We had driven passed this place for the last year without venturing inside. A review in a local paper reminded us to book a table and check it out.

I am so glad we did!

Set in the sweet village of Wrotham, Kent, this restaurant was cosy but modern, friendly and the food ...WOW!!!!!!

I had Foie Gras to start, on a bed of Black Pudding served with the most delicate gooseberry puree (i think). My mouth is watering thinking about it ... just perfect. I had rack of lamb for my main served with goats cheese and a fig compote of sorts ... the combination of flavours was perfect and the lamb cooked perfectly.

My other half had pork belly for mains and was equally over the moon. (although may resent me using that phrase to describe him)

My only slight negative would be the portion size of the main courses. You defo need a starter to leave satisified.

It is quite pricey but worth every penny.

I will definitely be returning.

YUM!!!!! What a treat!

We went here on Friday, we hadnt booked and they fit us in. From the moment we walked through the door the staff made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was ace ( apart form the table of spoilt girls next to us who seemed to have no respect for anyone other than themselves ..... playing crap chart music on their phones while we were eating ... Punch in the face!)

I loved the decor, the low tables, candles, bellydancing. so much fun!

We had the set menu ... more than enough food, just delish!

This place is gorgeous inside. the bar is perfect for supping cocktails, the dining area is light and compfy. There are booths too!

We had an amazing deal and got to sample 3 courses for 10 squid - BARGAIN!

The food was ok. I wish it had been more tasty. We started with Antipasto, they had advertised different cheeses on the menu but had left that off and all the veggies were over dressed. Having just got back from Sicily, I was hoping for that delectable flavour explosion. The main course we had Chicken with potatoes. it was tasty but a bit oily. The desert was delish, chocolate mmmmm.

The wine was quite pricey starting at 19 pounds .. we didnt mind as we had such a great deal but bear that in mind.

The staff were fabulous, the drinks were ace, the food was a little disappointing but I will go again!

There are always offers on the site and toptable.
