My friend and I came here today to purchase some Lorcana cards. A service rep helped us and showed us where they were stored and let us purchase the cards we wanted.

Later that afternoon, we decided to purchase more, so we went to the same place to get more cards. A different service rep (a very young gal) was right in front of where the cards were, and she proceeded to reprimand us rudely like children, for not asking for assistance. After we chose the cards we wanted (with her assistance), she followed us around, keeping watch on us, looking us up and down as we proceeded to pay for everything in full. I was very polite towards her throughout our interaction, not even making any fuss. I paid at self-checkout, and said thank you when I left, but she ignored me and instead gave me a dirty look. Not sure if this was racial profiling, but it made me feel very uncomfortable when she kept following and staring at us.

I understand the importance of store policies and procedures. So I can understand this sales rep's frustrations. But to enforce store policies and procedures does not mean being rude and unwelcoming to customers, especially if they didn't know what the exact procedure is. This was frankly rude and unprofessional customer service. It makes me not want to come back here, especially if sales reps are going to talk to me so insolently.

I give this Michaels location an overall one star rating - 1 star for its availability of Lorcana cards. But that's it. This Michaels offers nothing else good except the Lorcana cards. The poor/rude customer service ruined my experience here...

      Avoid!

Came here over the weekend since I was always curious about this place every time I visited Stonestown. Always a line, always very bustling - how was my first experience?

I went around 530pm, and figured to get there early before prime dinner time. I lined up in the queue, and grabbed different meats, vegetables, noodles, and balls. It gets weighed (current price is 14.99$ per lb) and then you pick your soup base or dry base. I opted for the pickled vegetable base, which was lightly spicy and rich in flavor. My friend opted for the hot and sour base, which was too spicy for him. Both broths were very oily... so if you're a fan of drinking soup, this place might not be for you, unless you like lots of oil!

After your bowl gets weighed and you pick your base, you pay and get your number. My biggest gripe of Tang Bar is what the number system is very disorderly. Bowls come out at different times, and if you get a popular soup base, then you may have to wait a very long time. Tang Bar isn't very good at announcing numbers either. Sometimes to announce your number, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they call your number when your full order is ready, or sometimes they call each individual bowl. Best thing to do is to check in with the staff to see if your order is ready (if you've been waiting a long time). To avoid confusion, I might advise people to order separately. That way each order has a number associated to it.

Not sure if I'll be back again. I think all the oil (while tasty) negated any "health" benefits from eating soup/hot pot, and lastly the ordering system was so disorderly that it was a turn off for me.

A few weeks ago I required an overnight stay at LHR, so I decided to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Terminals 2&3. The hotel is located at Terminal 2, so if you're coming from Terminal 3 (which I was), you need to walk below ground through the moving walkways, up an escalator and through a garage to get to the hotel. It was a little confusing, as I did get lost, but fortunately the hotel did provide a step by step video getting from Terminal 3 to the hotel, which helped out a lot!

I arrived around 9pm, and check in was very prompt and friendly. Hotel room was clean, and surprisingly quiet. My room faced the garage, which I expected to be noisy in the morning... but didn't hear anything during my stay, which was much appreciated!

The hotel offers self-serve laundry on their 5th and 10th floors. I had a fairly big load of laundry, so I had to use both washing machines on both floors. Would have been nice if there were multiple machines on each floor, but alas... Detergent is 1£, wash and dry are both 2£ each. The washing machines are medium sized, so if you have a big load you'll need do multiple washing loads. The dryer is fairly large, but don't do what I did and crammed all my laundry in there to dry! From what I researched, the model of dryer has an approximate 7kg weight limit. I was about double that... so my laundry didn't dry very well. Afterwards, I wound up having to separate my loads, and took me twice as long, in order to ensure my clothes were dry. Moral of the story, don't go too heavy with the dryer otherwise your clothes won't dry at all.

Overall I had a good experience at this HGI property. The convenient location to T2/T3, the quiet environs, and the access to self-serve laundry was a definite plus. I think I'll be back here again if I ever need to do an overnight at Heathrow!

Lovely lounge with super friendly staff, delicious food, and beautiful decor! Tranquil, peaceful, and posh... love the greenery/verdant plant vibes.

Came here via a layover from the US to South Africa. Layover of 5 hours allowed me to enjoy the facilities well here. Unfortunately no more massage or haircuts offered post-pandemic, but they still offer shower suites for freshening up prior to your flight. Shower suites are incredibly large - with all your soap, shampoo, and conditioner needs. Hair dryer also included in the suite. And plenty of extra towels!

Food was tasty, and orderable via QR. I had the butternut squash soup (yummy and sweet!), the grilled salmon (nice and crisp, well seasoned). To drink, I had a yuzu soda, which was similar to seltzer water but with a hint of sweetness (move over LaCroix!). Alcoholic wise I had an Aperoni, which was a Negroni with Aperol - delicious and refreshing!

Once 3pm hit, I had a nice afternoon tea set with tea sammies, scone, and some desserts, accompanied with traditional earl grey tea. A lovely experience overall!

I had long wanted to visit this lounge, but it's only open to those traveling in long haul business with Virgin, Aeroméxico, or Delta. I finally had the opportunity to visit, and glad I did. This has to be one of the best lounges I have ever visited!

Insider tip: if you want to be in a quieter space, the areas near the bathrooms/showers has quieter sections. This is where I was, and I enjoyed every moment of it there.

      5 stars!

As a Delta medallion member traveling in business class with Aeromexico, I was told that the Golden Gate Lounge was where I had lounge access to. With a 1:30pm flight to Mexico, I got to the Golden Gate Lounge at 12pm, and it was mostly empty. This was most welcomed - to seek refuge in a quiet lounge right before my flight. I suppose this is because not many flights depart from the international terminal at lunch time. Note, this is also a priority pass lounge, so I am sure it can get busy during peak hours (lunch time not being one of them). There is limited seating, but during off hours there's enough for everyone.

For lunch they had a variety of standard American lounge fare including vegetarian and meat sandwiches, pasta salad, garden salad, charcuterie spreads, and for beverages - wine, soft drinks, water. Food was nothing remarkable, but provided good sustenance prior to my flight!

Overall I would give this lounge a solid 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 for dishing out reliable food and drink options and a quiet space to chill. While I haven't had the chance to come here when it is extremely crowded or busy... I can say (at least) if you're here during lunch time, you'll likely have a more pleasant experience like I did. Cheers!
