The Bombay Bicycle club has a very colonial feel to it and serves some great Indian food. it isn't like your usual local Indian that you see scattered all over the place, this restaurant is more comfortably designed and more up-market yet the prices actually aren't too bad.
The food is fresh and the menu kept simple. The menu consists of the usual starters, chicken, lamb, seafood and vegetable mains, biryanis, rice and breads. Such delicious dishes include Onion Bhajee, Murgh Masala (tender chicken immersed in a rich masala sauce) and Madras Fish Curry.

Pentonville Rubber Products
Neighbourhoods: Islington, Clerkenwell-Finsbury
Pentonville Rubber is simple. It sells rubber, latex and foam to the normal home consumer to larger associations such as hospitals, museums and film studios.
When I was a design student I needed all sorts of materials to make things out of and this little shop provided me with the strangest of things.
If you design furniture and need foam for the cushioning of a chair, for instance, they can cut your foam to the exact size you need.
I once needed a large sheet of latex for a project, strange I know, and they had it in every colour.
Staff are highly professional and know exactly what they're talking about, and are extremely helpful.

Cactus Blue Restaurant
Category: Mexican
Neighbourhood: South Kensington
Cactus Blue is a lively and stylish Mexican themed restaurant/ bar with all sorts of nooks and crannies to chill out in, eat in or party in. There is a different feel to each space and is split into levels with the restaurant on the first floor mezzanine, the Attic Martini bar upstairs and the DJ bar/ lounge Haven and Sunken lounge which is more chilled out.
Food is good and the menu is simple and with just the right amount of choices. The chicken Jalapeno Chimichamga is tasty. The chicken comes all tangy and hot in a flour tortilla with refried beans and a tomato and red onion salad.
The Fajitas are done well too, and you have a choice of chicken, rib-eye steak, tiger prawns or roasted red peppers stuffed with mixed vegetables.
The drinks list is long and delicious. There is a very good choice of cocktails which are well made and tasty. the pear and vanilla bellini is yum, as are their classics such as Caipirinha and Long Island Iced tea.
If you haven't come here to eat a full meal, but feeling a bit peckish they have a bar menu which has a nice tapas selection.
Cocktail hour is from Monday to Saturdays from 5pm to 7pm, where it is 50% off all cocktails. On Sundays, cocktail hour is all day!

Creme de la Crepe
Categories: Creperies, Breakfast & Brunch
Neighbourhood: Covent Garden
Creme de la Crepe sells a delicious list of sweet and savoury crepes which you can eat in or take away. The place itself is well designed, with a simple yet funky clean layout. Stone flooring, sharp angular wooden tables, in cavernous white painted brick walls.
Their crepes come in al sorts of flavours and each have interesting names - they are an interesting take on the usual traditional crepes. For instance, Wide Load which has Mars bar, strawberries, ginger biscuits, and double cream. They also do Banoffee pie crepe, yum!
The savoury selection is very interesting as well, such as Fired Up with pastrami, passata, harissa, mozzarella, black olives and rocket. Or their Love Hate Thing, which to me sounds awful, with marmite, mayonnaise, cheddar, cherry tomatoes and rocket.

Piazza Cafe
Categories: Coffee & Tea, Restaurants
Neighbourhood: Fitzrovia
Set right in the heart of Covent Garden Market and is a good place to stop by for a bite to eat or something to drink and to watch the busy world around you pass by. The al fresco dining lay out means you get to see the usual street entertainment, which can get monotonous and loud, but it does add to the atmosphere.
The choice of stone baked pizzas is small but good, such as their Tartufi, with white truffle oil, goat's cheese, rocket, tomato and mozzarella.
Or simply indulge in one of their sandwiches with one of their fruity smoothies or a cup of fresh coffee.

This is Europe's 'oldest crime and mystery bookshop' and they stock 'all crime titles in print in both the UK and US'. It is pretty impressive, and being someone who is quite into the mystery novels, this shop is just right for me! Interestingly, they also have a large romance range.
You can buy their books on their online catalogue as well which is more extensive than what you will find in the actual book shop.

This quaint second hand book shop has an admirable range of books (19, 000!) from first editions, rare finds to the academic sort.
Conveniently located only a short walk from Soho as well as Leicester Square tube, Any Amount of Books is a safe haven to escape to from the busy streets of central London.
They sell books as cheap as a pound to thousands. The choice is immense.
If you go to their website you can see the books they sell and see if anything catches your fancy.

I have always had a pretty decent time here, granted I was always amongst good company. Music is cheesy and can get quite loud, but the general atmosphere is loud and fun and the crowd jovial. It can get quite packed in the weekends, and you find yourself squashed at odd angles. But Bar Soho is more fun when there are more people about.
However, the drinks and food choice is so- so and cost way too much.

The White Company stocks a chic range of home accessories, and as its name suggests, mainly in white. Designs are simple, clean and crisp.
You'll find such products as luxury, classic bed and table linen, blankets and towels. They have also introduced a clothing line for men, women and children, which have proved successful, as well as bringing in china, glassware and bathroom bits and bobs.
Though the shop can seem a bit starch and bare, they do sell lovely things which will fit perfectly well in ones home. They are great as sometimes it can be difficult to just find simple products which aren't inundated with over the top, garish designs!

Date

You get to tick what you want from a list of hot and cold dishes. There are all sorts of sushi, sashimi, rolls and tempura to choose from and everything comes with great speed and efficiency.
The food itself is alright, I've had heaps better, but for what it's worth, its isn't bad at all. Except if I were you, though tempting, I would try not to overindulge as I can't quite say the food agreed with my tummy the next day!
The a la carte & buffet is everyday from 5.30pm, Sat & Sun all day. From Sunday to Friday the price is £14.80 per person and on Saturdays is £16.30.
