Well I'd actually found an Indian restaurant that I wanted to go to but their set menu was £38 per person and the a la carte options were also priced very high and with very little vegetarian choice we told them we weren't going to bother. The problem was finding somewhere else! Loads of burger bars, BBQ and meat offerings "so it's going to *have* to be Italian (sigh)".

Found Strada practically at the end of our tether and decided to go in and chance it. I should, at this juncture, point out that we used to go to a little Italian restaurant nestled in a cul-de-sac at the back of Covent Garden which catered for theatre-goers and had a 2 and 3 course menu that had a selection of vegetarian options, and run by an Italian family, which is why we kept going back there. That is, until we found that they had closed down and a burger bar had taken over its premises! As creatures of habit you can imagine how unsettling this is!

So we entered our "last resort" and were escorted to the back of the restaurant to a little table for two that was, perhaps, just a little *tight*. The tables were very close together to make the maximum use of space, I had to take my coat off just to go round the table to sit down, practically elbow to elbow with the diner to my right. I discovered that they have mirrors running along the backs of the walls, giving an infinity mirror effect whilst sitting at a table.

The menu - well they have a 2 course and a 3 course "special" menu. Frankly, I felt that the 2 course option would be sufficient as I'm making a determined effort to eat properly (i.e., healthily + smaller portions = lose weight). My choice was the mushroom bruschette followed by a doppiata margerita pizzetta (their terminology I presume for a half portion of pizza). Husband was pleased to be able to have the whitebait followed by a creamy risotto. Well I don't know how big their regular pizzas are but if my main course was a half size they must make them twice the size of everywhere else I've ever eaten pizza!

We both ordered a glass of wine each and he had to have a cappuccino and dessert. Yet, in spite of the extras, our bill came to 20p under £40 which we felt was very good value. I'm confident that we'll be going back to Strada the next time we have theatre tickets in Covent Garden!

St Pancras Station is served by lots of fast food places but, when you've just spent the last couple of hours singing a performance which, in all honesty, didn't go as smoothly as you would've liked, a decent meal is all Stuart and I really wanted. We ended up at Drake and Morgan, set a way back from the station and the road but it was the only place open that had something on the menu we could eat!

It was almost full of diners when we arrived but they found us a table for 2. I'd already decided to go for the Halloumi Burger and Stuart opted for the Fish and Chips.

It's a big venue, as it has a bar downstairs and the waiters seemed to disappear out of view! However, we were served promptly and we'd both chosen non alcoholic cocktails. My Ginger Mimosa was really nice and refreshing, unfortunately Stuart's Garden Fizz had fizz but little flavour! My arm was twisted to have dessert as they had creme brulee on the menu (a personal favourite if made well!) with a trifle for him.

Whilst there wasn't a great vegetarian selection for us to choose from, we were tired and just grateful that they served our food promptly.

The ambience was modern although a tad noisy, the music being rather loud with a fast thumping base!

Since they've taken my favourite item off their menu I don't tend to visit quite as often but their restaurant was over the road from where our coach had dropped us and we were quite hungry. The main "problem" with Wagamama is the bench-style seating since my husband needs a chair with a back (arms too would be helpful). We've walked away from one of these restaurants because they had nothing suitable to offer us, the Harrow one will bring a chair from the outside seating inside for us and, on this occasion, we were offered seating up at the far end (where the staff go for lunch) which was adequate as it was padded seating against the back wall.

Takes our order for food only after getting our teams and putting everything on a tray. Surely getting the food order in should be a priority as getting booked water into pots, setting cups and milk jug takes time. Tea nit very hot. Mac and cheese has bacon in!!!! Why aren't you offering mac ans cheese without it and as an option? I want eat here again.

Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We'd always said about visiting and took the opportunity as we were nearby to finally visit. Is also accessible which made this building even more enjoyable for us. Highly recommend a visit.
