I went here a while back with the big boss .... it was good. I wanted to go somewhere a little bit sexy but not too up its own arse. It was a little bit old style .. Not up to the standard of Maze or Claridges but each course was tasty ... I had the foie Gras to start which was just melt in the mouth delish, My boss had the fried oysters and was egually satisfied.... the courses continued to be wonderful washed down with a scrummy red. Overall happy just feel like it was a little corporate..... but fitted the purpose.

Based in Chancery Lane I frequent Lincolns Inn Fields whenever the sun comes out, taking my lunch and basking in the sun. It is always buzzing and you can even play tennis at lunch if you book the courts.
It is lovely to have such a large outdoor space so close to where I work.

cheep as chips and lots of fun ... always end up getting a little bit drunk ( if there is such a thing as a little bit drunk) on Alpine... at just over £2 a pint that cant be bad ! Gets a bit busy Thurs and Friday but that adds to the charm!

Daddy Donkey is like the rough and ready Burrito, this is more of the fast food version but with all fresh ingredients .. They always give me extra cheese and sour cream for no charge ,,, and the guac ... mmm mmm mmmmm!
The only reason it doenst get 5 stars is it is just so crowded when you are waiting in line at lunch and if it is raining you get wet if the queue is out the door. They do come round with nachos and dips though so maybe it will go up to a 5 next time .... hmmmm what to do!

I have been going to Clipso for the last 7 years ( well 2 of those years I was in SF so lets say 5 years!) and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have wanted to go here to eat for a long time .. only ever managed to make it for cocktails before.
Last we went for some food to celebrate life. It was delicious. The ambiance and attnetion to detail of this place is wonderful.
I had Duck rolls for starters and Roast Duck for main ... just devine. The side veggies were cooked to perfection.
We had a beautiful seasoned Rjoca to top it off ..perfect.
It is pricey but I think totally worth it!
Would recomend for romance , would recommend for cheering up, would recommend for drinks !

If you just want a few pints in the evening, the staff are friendly and quick, the drinks yums. They have a plentiful choice of beers/ ales if that float your boat. There are board games a plenty and the toilets are sexy and unisex. There is outside seating to absorb the evening sunshine as the days get longer.
It is also great if you want to go out in the evening for some great comfort foods. There is always a tasty pie, meat and veg or something else to tickle your fancy.

The Toucan was my local for 5 years and we used to go most nights. The place is small! and the toilets leave something to be desired .. but then you take a sip of the heavenly black stuff and all those small points fade into oblivion.
I still go when I can and it will always have a place in my heart!
