For some (most?) people, your job is something you have to suffer through to get to the fun parts of life. It's called work, because it is, in fact, work.

There must be a lucky few among us, however, who actually wake up in the morning looking forward to their Mondays. If you're one of those people, what is it that you do? The rest of us could use some ideas.

Alternatively, what's the most fun job you've ever had? Mine was definitely being a bartender. On a boat.

Sigh, no I am not one of those people. I get through the day with a blend of caffeine, a rocking playlist and laughing about how awful it is with my co-workers.

It is very hard to have job satisfaction doing the work I do but at least it allows me to spend all  my money on drink and clothes. Woot!

I love my job! But the best job ever was working in a Cattery (a place where people put there cats when they go on holidays). I got to cuddle kitties all day.

I think 3 or 4 days out of 5 I love my job - that's pretty good going, but after sacrificing so much for 10 years to get this job I sometimes wonder if it was all worth it.

And no-one ever looks forward to Mondays.... even the product tester teams at Lego. It's preprogrammed into humanity not to like Mondays

I actually quite like my job as a bookseller, but as Tom said, I don't wake up in the morning blowing sunshine out my arse at the thought of going to work. I'm human, and I like to sleep. But once I'm there, I enjoy it much more than not.

Peter Gibbons: Let me ask you something. When you come in on Monday and you're not feeling real well, does anyone ever say to you, "Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays?"

Lawrence: No. No, man. Shit, no, man. I believe you'd get your ass kicked sayin' something like that, man.

Miguel, yus! I dig that film (And major kudos to Cindy for introducing it to me many months back!).

I don't love my job, I don't hate my job. It could be a lot better. It could be SO much worse.

I love my job because I am not required to wear 15 pieces of flair, when I'm really expected to wear 37.

I like my job when I'm allowed to do it! Which only happens when I'm in the office early or working from home.

My best job was being the England rugby mascot, getting paid good money for wearing a costume and getting to watch all the home internationals.

i'm not employable.  for better or worse, i have to be my own boss as i'm self-motivated to the extreme and HATE being told what to do.  my extended durations of employment have ended in mutiny.

best job though:  receptionist for an uber high end beach & harbour club in the US northeast.  from my perch, i got to stare across a magnificent vista of the atlantic ocean, read philosophy/social history/classic fiction, write nonsense when the mood struck me, and chat with the high-powered CEO's/authors/quasi-celebs when they came in about life and what i was reading/writing.  i recall picking up the phone a total of three times.

I love, Love, LOVE my job. Sorry to be "that guy" who is like "Oooh, look at me! I have an awesome job!" but I've COMPLETELY lucked into having a pretty great job. I work for HBO selling programming to broadcasters in Central & Eastern Europe. I get to travel a bit, great perks and invitations to all sorts of industry events, I'm moving to NYC in April to join the central office, and when there is nothing to do I get to watch HBO programming at my desk.

Don't get me wrong, I work REALLY hard a lot of the time (was here until 11:30pm on Friday night a few weeks ago), but HBO is such a great company to work for and we are treated really well. Plus, I get to see episodes of everything before they air. Awesome :)

Well I have loved some jobs but they have not loved me back. Having be made redundant more times than I can remember, best job was me driving special needs kids and lastly adults from homes to a day centre. However I had the most fun when I freelanced whilst looking for a permanent or temporary situation, or what I called " fill in". Fortunatley I could sell products and had the energy to cold canvass, only shops and offices including industial and business parks, and was offered a job for them! I spent 10 years on that mad escapade, not everyones cup of tea? i went on training courses, took jobs I knew I would hate, but better than sitting around blaming others like those that had jobs because they were not fussy.
