Visited Zeugma on Friday night after reading good reviews about the restaurant.
The staff were friendly, the food excellent and the portion sizes were huge.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is all cooked in front of you.
Would definitely recommend.
Worth a visit.
This restaurant, beside the occasional crying baby, has a fantastic atmosphere. Very relaxed and a great location for peace, quiet and a nice(ish) meal. My only criticism of the place would be the food which of course is the fundemental appealing point of a restaurant but it's possible to convince yourself it's good. My shish kebab as well as both the meals of my 2 friends were dry and over-cooked when it would've been perfect if they were slightly less dry. The starters however were brilliant and thus the dry-ish meat are my only complaint of this fantastic establishment. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy well-done food.
Quite authentic traditional Turkish cuisine. Although the Restaurant is small and more like a glorified cafe, the food is spot on and usually prepared on charcoal in front of you. You get a big plateful bbq meat/chicken etc along with a nice salad, rice and freshly prepared bread. The Turkish beer 'Efes' is also served here. Would recommend this place to anyone and it always busy, opens thougout the day mosts days and until 11.30 or so in the evening. The same firm has another place 100 yds further down London road called 'Zuegma Iki' Iki means 2(two) in Turkish, this one is bigger and more restaurant like with slightly higher prices but almost as good on the food side.
Both places well worth the visit.
Amazing food and great service. We ordered takeaway at Z2 and they gave us some tea to drink while we waited for our food. The lady was extremely nice and helpful. We loved our food.
Fantastic place to eat, amazing dishes and excellent service. If you like kebabs that are cooked to perfection and love a big meal. If your from Sheffield you have to go, 5 stars
Went here for a birthday dinner last week and it was one of the nicest meals I've had in months.
Very relaxed, almost cafe like atmosphere, with the food all cooked in front of you on an open grill.
The food is fairly simple, but really fresh and top quality.
Lamb kebab was beatifully tender, served with a variety fresh salads and rice. Also had a lamb and aubergine stew which tasted amazing.
The menu is extensive and all sounds gorgeous - mostly based around meat/kebabs, but also includes stews and traditional pides.
Also, very good prices. Starters £3 or £4, mains around £9, and it's a BYO!
I can't wait to go again!
I went here on a Monday night and the place was full. I had the roast baby quail which was delicious. They put something in the rice which makes it flavoursome and fragrant. The portion sizes are big and good value for money.
