We love eating here. The phrase 'there'll be another one along in a minute' is so apt if you happen to miss the plate you had your eye on! The small dishes circle you and you just grab the one you want. If you are feeling impatient simply request a particular dish to be made and within a few minutes there it is. I haven't had anything that wasn't good and the beauty is you keep eating til you feel full. The sashimi is absolutely superb, as are the dumplings and tempura dishes. Loads of fun as well as being delicious. It isn't the cheapest place to eat but for a treat it's terrific.

I'm a big fan of sushi so was well excited to discover that Trinity Leeds would have it's own branch, rather than having to traipse uncomfortably through Harvey Nicks, feeling very out of place, to get my fix.
As it's part of a chain, the Yo! experience was much as I expected, yummy dishes going around on the belt, and delicious options to order from the menu.
I've been in a few times since it opened and it's always been pretty busy, especially when there's a promotion on, and as someone who could easily eat their own bodyweight in sushi, I need the promos to make filling my face affordable.
I must admit I was a bit disappointed that the restaurant wasn't a bit bigger, but there are a few booths kind of hidden around the back of the belt which gives a little bit of extra room.
This branch of Yo! loses a star from me compared to the Harvey Nicks branch as the only time I've been and had to use the facilities, the toilets were a mess! A broken sink, water all over the place, toilet roll everywhere... yack! Reading others' reviews about the toilets being nice though, perhaps this was just a one-off? Hmmm will have to go again to see.... Blue Monday anyone....?

I visited here with my cousin and her friend about a week ago. I like Yo Sushi and was happy about an opening of a stand alone restaurant away from Harvey Nichols.
There was a bit of a wait for a table but this soon went down and was dealt with efficiently by staff who were generally friendly, though there was one girl with a bit of attitude.
We were seated and we ordered food gradually which was fine and the staff were pretty efficient considering how busy it was. I tried the new ramen main which they offer, though I was very disappointed that there wasn't a vegetarian option. I opted for the fish, but would hase chosen veggie over. It was good but I was expecting it to be better, a bit more spice and flavour in the broth; they offered chilli oil to spice it up, but I'd prefer fresh chilli than oil.
The rest of the food was good. Just before we left they were clearing the conveyor as it was a cut off point for some of the food, and I was shocked at the amount of wastage :( I asked them what they do with the food, and they said that they have to throw it away for health and safety. It deeply saddened me to see perfectly good food go to waste.

I went here on Sunday bank holiday evening on a random mission for some raw fish. We thought we'd try the new Yo Sushi seeing as we've never been inside it. On entering it felt way more spacier than the little corner you get in Harvey Nichols and the place felt more polished and new! The toilets were nice and clean, modern looking and new looking as well!
It was surprisingly not very busy! We got straight to the table and the staff were pretty friendly. No problem with customer service. There was one nice lass who was really chatty. I decided to order a chicken yakisoba and a bottle of sake. I also had 5 things off the belt. I spent quite a bit! Come to think about it we'd have got a better deal at another Japanese restaurant.
It felt as though this YoSushi had a lack of variety compared to the Yo Sushi in Harvey Nichols. It's like they only put the popular choices on the belt. There were also no desserts on the belt. Maybe it was because I went in the evening? The orders I placed came quick enough though.
I would go here again, but not in busy time. I can imagine this place is awful in peak time (weekday lunch and all day weekend) and the staff are stressed and on their feet.

I would recommend joining their mailing list on their website to get offers which include half price sushi from time to time. They have recently added new dishes to their menu including kobe beef (I've yet to try). It's great for the kids as it's a novelty taking dishes from the conveyor belt.
The plates are color-coded, the green tea is refillable if you order it too!
