Hey really sorry, I understand COMPLETELY and yes it was unfair as my review was written about previous owners....a long time ago!
Will look forward to trying your menu! x
I've read Crazyfox 69s review & (hey!) I am that tourist. This is well positioned for a brief detour off the Malvern Hills and it's 'honeypot' pub & ice cream places. Probably only 200 yards, but what a difference! It's a 'real' pub full of locals as opposed to the shade wearing Sunday poseurs you see in the pricier places. It has an excellent collection of light, local beers and great views to Malvern & the east. Cheap too, my round only cost £7.00 for three!!! The interior is a glory to behold.....fake beams, some fibre glass, and a sub Spoons patterned carpet. My advice? A window seat, looking at the view!!!
This place used to be called The Herefordshire House, and a much finer pub it was too. It is a perfectly decent pub now, but it is only really a tourist pub, being, as it is, on the top of the Malvern Hills. Parking is not good which is why it used to be a bikers pub, alas no more. I'm sure that the tourists that do visit the Wyche will have nothing but good reports of it, but I hanker after the days when you could turn up on your motorbike and park up next to 20 other bikes and talk endless rubbish about wheelies etc. The only bikes you get now are of the mountain variety.
