Nicely set up station. Perfect for disabled travellers as there is a lift for each platform and staff who open the gate so you don't have to try and get through the barriers. Friendly staff on hand who are polite. Clean toilets and a good cafe.
Woking Railway Station is a moderate sized train station located right next to Woking town centre, easily accessible on foot, by car and by bus.
The station itself is not particularly attractive, standard stone and brick, with covered platforms and several automated ticket machines by each station's entrance. The platforms themselves have several metal benches to sit on, but are generally quite exposed to the elements of wind and rain if it is a miserable day you can still get rained on etc.
There is a large staircase that goes over the tracks to allow you to get to different platforms, this would suggest that it is difficult to use if you are travelling with a baby buggy, heavy luggage or are a wheelchair user.
