Welwyn has some fine eating establishments. The White Hart is arguably the best. Originally a pub but now much closer to the restaurant/gastro-pub end of the spectrum this offers high quality restaurant type food.
The menu is modern British with a good choice. This is a restaurant that my family and I love to visit for a special occasion or just a good quality meal.
The best of British food, luxury accommodation, private function room, welcoming bar and warm friendly service.
Established in 2004.
Originally established as one of the principal coaching inns on the Great North Road in Dick Turpin territory during the late 17th century; changing up to 80 teams of horses per day. Lovingly and painstakingly renovated in 2005 The White Hart still retains all of its original features and charm just brought into the modern day.
A meandering history of law study, employment in the IT industry then arrival in the family business which I have now run for the last 8 years. Personal interests and hobbies include computer and gadget repairs and general geekness, rifle shooting and spending time with my family.
