Another Pub that ticks all the boxes. Haven't eaten there yet, but the menu looks interesting and I am told it changes regularly. Got talking to a regular who reckons the Sunday Roast is spot on with a choice of Beef, Lamb or chicken, served with all the trimmings for £8.95, which considering it's in Fulham, sems like very good VFM.
The bar itself is spotless and not somewhere to spend to much time if you are indecisiveas there is a massive selection of beers, lagers and wine to choose from.
It's not often that I would go out of my way to visit a pub, but this is definitely going to become something of a regular haunt.
Well worth a visit..and tell Ali Qype sent you!

This is our rugby clubhouse come the weekend. They treat us well and the place is big enough to accommodate several teams of mostly lagered-up psedo aggressive chaps.

During the week (and the rugby off-season I might add) this place just doesn't know what to do with itself. Is it a gastro-pub? A friendly local? A sloany wannabe? It doesn't quite fit any of the above but it's a good stop-off for a bite to eat and a pint or two.

Alternatively, come down on a Saturday in the rugby season and we'll show you a good time even if the bar staff don't.

I have a bit of a claim to fame at the Wheatsheaf. Yep, it's true. My wife and I were the very first diners since they reopened after extensive remodeling. The place looked great inside and they coaxed us in with a 2-for-1 deal on our meals.

The food was good and the service was enthusiastic if a bit chaotic, but we overlooked that given the circumstances. I have to admit that when my food game, it was a bit cold but nothing worth complaining about and the long chat we had with the owner filled me with confidence that this place was moving in the right direction.

The next time we walked past the Wheatsheaf it was full to the brim; absolutely packed with people. Looks like they got it right.

I agree with Alex, this place seems to be getting a number of things right, despite a lack of decent real ale.

Very friendly and rather attractive staff, a beer garden I'm looking forward to frequenting, a mouthwatering menu with a great value deal at lunchtime, and it's clean and comfortable.

Have also found it does a good pub quiz on Thursday nights at 8pm. Hope to see you all there.

The Wheathsheaf is good value for money, in every sense.
The pub has been recently refurbished, and whether you prefer the bar, couches, a garden or tables, you're catered for.
The menu is short and sweet, but the food is good with nice-sized portions for reasonable prices. Although only limited ales on tap, the bar has just about everything else.
The staff are very friendly, and although it was quiet on a Wednesday night, it should get busy over weekend, Mondays (with their BOGOF offer) and on quiz nights. At least the pub is nice and airy, so even full should be really comfy!

Another one of my locals! It has great food and a good selection of beer and wine. They just recently have redecorated and they did a great job. It feels like a pub yet the dining area feels like a nice restaurant.

The hospitality here and the crowds that come make for a great atmosphere.

Plenty of seating and standing room, they do pub quizzes and it is easy to get to from Parsons Green Tube and by the 14 bus.

I like it. Renovated yet not ultra-modern: stools, tables, sofas, but plenty of space. Great staff. Feels like a relaxed place to stop or a pint and a bite.

We often come here with my husband. The beer garden is really awesome and many people come here just because of it. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is always very courteous and helpful. They make great cocktails and have an endless selection of wines.

Great to find the Wheatsheaf on Qype! This is my local and i love it. Easily the best pub in SW6 and even better since the refurb. I'll be popping in for a pint this evening :)

The Wheatsheaf is a good hangout. It has decent grub and beer and is probably the best pub in the area to watch sport. It is actually a rugby pub, so it is pretty good to go and watch the footy there i.e. it is less busy and you get a pretty well behaved crowd. I think it is undergoing new management so they need to sort out a few service issues but other than that I had no quarrels.

Wheatsheaf is a lovely find,, excellent quality food and superb value for money!

Was quite out of the way for me but I would def recommend to anywhere. Great place for an after work drink or get together over food.

Pub its self has been decorated nicely and a comfy feel when you are in there.

    Thumbs up from me!

I went here for a Qype meat up, and I can say that if you are carnivorous then its well worth checking out! The mixed grill was lovely, it included a cut of Steak, a pork chop, lamb chop and sausage! There was also some tomatoes and mushroom to keep the scurvy at bay! All very reasonably priced too. The meat was of a good standard and tasty. My girlfriend tried the mains steak and said it was cooked to perfection! The interior is mellow and charming, the remodelling looks really smart and the staff are friendly and very attentive. Apparently they have a beer garden? I missed this first time round so may have to head back next summer!

I got commissioned to take photos of the lovely garden at the back for some promotional materials now that spring is here! and stayed on for a light lunch of Chicken livers with battered onion rings and salad which was perfectly cooked, a larger then expected portion and only £3.50!! amazing. I washed it down with my first Pimm's of the year. The decor inside is warm open and friendly with an extensive wine list and menu to top it all off.

    Wonderful place.

I've only been here once, but I'll definitely be coming back soon! Very nice pub, both for its atmosphere and the food. I had a delicious bacon and cheeseburger, served with crispy french fries. Definitely one of the best burgers I've eaten. Dessert was delicious also: red fruit crumble with a homemade custard to die for!

Very friendly place, decor just fine, a decent pub for a pint. It's pretty cheap and good value, certainly. However, the first time I visited, my meal arrived with dirt on the side of the plate, and it was cold, so I wasn't overly impressed and haven't ordered food since then. The staff were friendly however and it was good to sit for a pint. I visit the Fulham area when I come to see my sister and I divide my time between this pub and the Cock and Hen Fulham on North End Rd. just up the road. I actually prefer the Cock and Hen (even though it's pretty pricey) as the newly built private rear terrace is really great, no sound from traffic as it's at the back, under huge canvas umbrellas with heaters for when it's nippy and oak decking (Young's apparently spent £1 refurbishing the place) and the gastro food is excellent and very well cooked. It's doesn't seem to attract many loutish 20-somethings, more of an older crowd. Excellent real ale - I had a delicious wheat beer last week, the best since I last visited Vienna or Berlin. I have to point out that it is a little pricey but worth it for the buffalo sofas and beautiful decor, away from the hustle and bustle of the North End Rd market, which I liked because of the freshly baked organic bread and cakes and, last but not least, the gorgeous French guys who have a huge cheese stall on a Saturday, with sample boards - a huge treat!

We vacationing American transplants made the Wheatsheaf our home base for the week. Best pub food we had in London! Very friendly patrons and helpful staff. We felt quite welcome. Is Friday night really disco night? I guess we missed that
