Established in 1989. Westoe Travel is an award winning family owned Independent business based in South Shields, Tyne Wear. We have established this business from scratch starting as a desk in the back of the family newsagents over 2 years ago to now being the biggest retail travel agent in the UK for the sale of UK holidays and breaks. This has been achieved while maintaining excellence in customer services and 'the family business that cares' ethos. Qype User (skii…)Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear21301115 Nov 2008Great little independent travel agents in South Shields. They have some very competitive deals on the DFDS ferry cruises, as well as being able to book coach trips to Disneyland Paris and other European city breaks.
I have been on a few trips booked by Westoe travel and in general, the hotel accomodation has always been sufficient. The people on most of the coach trips have always been very friendly and made the trips memorable. The prices offered are very competitive, too.
They now have their own website on which they advertise any special offers that they have. These often sell out very quickly though so you have to be on-the-ball! Definitely worth popping in if you're looking for an affordable break away somewhere as they have plenty to offer.

Qype User (timetr…)London031024 Nov 2008Got a really good deal on a London break paying £119 for two nights in a top hotel with breakfast, evening meal and train tickets between Newcastle and London.
They also have a great choice of theatre and show tickets as well as concerts at the O2 arena

Qype User (BrianA…)Gateshead, Tyne and Wear0224 May 2013I used to think that Westoe Travel only did UK holidays. I wanted to do a cruise to Norway with Thomson's and my friend had got a quote from another travel agent.
I was passing their shop and saw an advert for the cruise and called in for a price. I was surprised that they were actually cheaper than the quote my friend got. We booked the cruise and had a great trip but the best bit was that when we got back from the cruise, one of the staff at Westoe Travel had gone and taken a photo as the ship had sailed from the River Tyne passing the Groyne and Tynemouth Priory and sent me this as a souvenier.
