    These guys really helped me out; I had demanding circumstances and they just rolled with it, worked around my requirements with both professionalism and friendly attitude. Can't recommend them highly enough. (Especially in comparison with Cabots Circus apple store!!)

    Oh  and they did a perfect repair job, quickly :-)

    Western are an authorised apple reseller, and until recently the only one worth going to in Bristol. They have pretty much everything in stock, and a reasonably knowledgable staff. Unfortunately for them, with an actual apple store not far away, and little to no variation in price, I don't see much reason to go back.

    I have never received such appalling service in my life. After taking my Macbook pro in for repair after it died, it was hooked up to a diagnostics machine and i was told it was a software issue, and if i left it with them and agreed to pay their flat rate of 72pounds so it could be sorted. So when i received a call a few days later informing me it needed a new Hard drive and it was now going to cost me 400quid i wasn't very happy. So given the fact i only left it there based on what i was told in store, i told them i didn't want them to do anything more to it and i would be down to collect the machine. They still expected me to pay the 72pound charge which i was not happy with at all. After much argument it was agreed they would fit a new HDD at cost price, so only charging me for the actual unit and no service charge. When i went down to collect the MBP it seemed to work fine, so i left with it. When i got home i not only realised ALL of my applications and software needed reinstalling (Not too much to ask surely?) but the Battery wasn't showing up as working on the top panel. I took it upon myself to open the unit up and have a peak, and low and behold, the battery wasn't connected. Considering it was quite a simple job, how they managed to forget to connect the battery is beyond me. I assume as they were counting on me returning to the store to fix the problem and redeem some of the lost service charge they foolishly squandered through their own incompetence. Suffice to say i will never recommend nor return to Western Computer ever again, and urge anyone else reading this review not to. * Just to note, in order to publish this review i have to give this company a minimum of 1 star, however this does not reflect the zero stars i am actually rating them!*
