If you like your restaurants a little off the beaten track but worth the pilgramage when you arrive, then you're going to love this place. Its set up in a converted barn on a farm and is run by some of the nicest people you're likely to encounter in the food service industry.
There's plenty to choose from on the menu but I had to go for the rib-eye steak as I saw one go out when I sat down. I wasn't disappointed as it was huge, juicy and perfectly cooked.
This would be an idel place to hold a wedding reception or a big birthday celebration!
I enjoy eating here as its a lovely little place with wonderful views and a magnificent menu.
Great place to start a walk from, as Wellies is a barn set in rolling Sussex countryside. They are open for brekkie from 9.00am, and they do morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea, as well as being open for dinner. Very warm and friendly, lovely food and a free slice of cake if you spend £3 on coffee. Highly reccomended.
Excellent little restaurant tucked away among the country lanes near Chichester. The place is small and cosy, with food cooked to order. The veggie Wellington is divine, even for a meat lover. I haven't been during the day when it functions more like area room but it would be an ideal place to sit with a brew and a cake
Wellies is in a beautiful setting. We've visited a few times after a walk on the downs. Their sandwiches are actually a meal in themselves A huge fresh baked baguette with salad and chips. Delicious. The ice cream is to die for! Service is spot on too. Very friendly.
