A nice vegetarian cafe with quite a bit of choice. It's self service and there's usually a queue so you have to make your mind up quite quickly (which isn't always easy!) I wish they'd do waitress service. However, one good thing is that you can point at exactly the things you'd like, and, if you choose to add salads, you can fill your plate as full as you like for no extra charge. For example, today I had the bean burger (which was large) with lots of curried rice and green salads, tomatoes, red cabbage and coleslaw - all for £4.75. It was all delicious too. They have soya milk too which is an advantage to vegans and many vegetarians (like myself). Some nice cakes too. I have found some of the staff a little off-hand in the past but the lady who served me today was really friendly. UPDATE NOVEMBER 2008: We got there very early but there was still a long queue. I think there should be more people serving or else go over to waitress service (as I said before). The lentil shepherds pie, and the spinach quiche and lots of different salads were delicious. I really recommend the food here though the coffees could be a little better and the 'large' latte isn't that large.

I really enjoyed my lunch at the Waverley. Lots of choice and delicious. There is also a shop that sells fresh fruit and veg and veggie products. Meat eaters will probably enjoy their lunch here as well.
