OH i like this VUE!! It's is big with 11 screens with great 3D!
Obviously with all VUE cinemas you expect pricey food and drink.
This VUE has free wifi which is always a plus. They also show theatre and dance screenings as well.
They have stepped stadium style seating, so you can enjoy the film from every angle and with great sound. I have sat in their VIP seats which are comfortable and have great leg room for tall chick like me.
This VUE has places to eat next door like Chiquitos, Frankie's and Benny and a Hollywood Bowl as well.
For motorist the Cinema is great to get to because you have a big car park, for people using public transport, you have one bus (10)from Watford town centre to Woodside and it a 10-15 min walk depending on your walking speed.
I do prefer coming to this cinema then the Harrow VUE, so yeah I'm fan!
Loads of places to eat and a spacious car park - a good meeting point for friends who live in different parts of the surrounding area!
Large with plenty of screens and a big range of snacks.
Your bog standard, out of town, pizza chain multiplex on the outskirts of Watford.
The cinema itself is smart, reasonably tidy and there is ample parking but admission prices I feel are expensive. The choice of films errs towards the Hollywood Blockbuster so you know what you are going to get.
- If you go on Orange Wednesdays you can get two tickets for the price of one.
- If there is a queue when you arrive at the ticket office, go through and buy your tickets at the various food kiosks. They sell them too.
This is the best multiplex in the area. They now do allocated seating and have installed premium seats.
Seats are comfortable here, but you might get a kickr kiddy behind you.
They do cater for the younger market so don't expect non-blockbuster mature films to hang around long.
This is a multiplex cinema located within the Woodside Leisure Centre in Garston. We usually buy our tickets online so have never had to queue up to buy tickets. There are plenty of machines to insert your credit card and get the tickets printed out for you. Just buy your food and go straight in.
The food is fairly expensive, as cinemas usually are. The staff there always try to make you spend as much as possible, saying things like for 50p more would you like a larger size or for only £3.50 more would you like a bottle of water with that? etc. Beware of them!
The cinema is fairly clean and well kept. We always go for the kids movies, with cheap film tickets as well as the adult-goes-free-with-kid offer. Quite a cheap day out at the movies.
im not a lover of this multi plex cinemas preferring the luxury setting of the bygone original Cinemas. But at least they have a large parking area and its pretty easy to get to by car. Recommend to book in advance for very popular films though. Downside? The expensive sweets and popcorn-daylight robbery!
This is the best cinema I have been to in Hertfordshire, it offers by far the best experience. It has more seats/screens than the rest, VIP seating (Comfortable leather armchairs with a lot of room. The seating is arranged so that everyone has a good view of the screen no matter which row you are in or if someone is in front of you. The showings have a really good range of times. So if you want to watch a decent film in a comfy chair with nice food, then definitely come here.
This cinema is clean, well organised and well managed. There's plenty of parking and all the usual junk food on offer. Embarrassingly, I managed to trip on the steps inside the cinema on my last visit and the staff were both kind and helpful.
Reasonable cinema, expensive food of course!
i love this place loads!
but food is quiet expensive,
they have it at the right loudness.
Great cinema, clean and always showing best movies out. A bit pricey for food and nibbles but you cant expect it to be cheap in a cinema. Never long queues.
Good clean cinema. You can buy tickets at the food stalls which is handy - only need to queue once. Plenty of parking and two resturant in next to the cinema - Chiquitos and Frank & Benny's
