Located upstairs in Castlecourt, my Dad found himself drawn to here as we sat and had a muffin and some tea during a busy day of family shopping in which we argued and give off about the amount of young ones out shopping and loitering at the weekends when they should be doing homework or at the very least in a part time job, it's an absolute disgrace... oh right back to the review...
We finished our muffins and waited... and waited... and waited some more, and realising Dad had not come back from the shop, I kicked into Rambo mode and took out a bunch of tracksuited-children to get to the shop which, aside from my Dad, had one other person in it and he was selling his heart out.
Dad had to get a new phone anyways because like pretty much every phone, there comes a time where you put it down on a table and it feels like turning itself off for an hour or so.
The little man behind the counter (the sales man by the way) tried too hard to sell everything which puts me off but Dad knew all the techniques and took his new phone and left. BAM!! One nil to the customer!
Vodafone man as he is forever known has become the type of man I have come to respect and hate in one mouthful. The shop was eerily quiet so V.M had to do his best but he did seem to try and take advantage of the fact no one else was in the shop as he tried to get my Dad to sign up for a variety of things.
But all in all, it is the go to place for all Vodafone customers. Just don't come out with things you don't need.

As I have said in other reviews, I used to work in a place that sold mobile phones so I like to think that I kinda know what I'm talking about when it comes to this kind of shop.
Unfortunately, for me, this place is a bit too focused on sales and not enough on customer service. Any time I have called in I have found the staff to be a bit pushy and in my face, which is exactly what I am not looking for when I go into check stuff out.
The prices and stuff are pretty standard, but even if you want to go on Vodafone you can get it cheaper elsewhere, namely online. If you want my advice, you should probably avoid this place.

Castle Court is in the heart of the city centre, but it seems to be past its prime and hasn't really done anything to try and compete with the new Victoria Centre. Debenhams in the main store here and its a ways worth a visit. There are so many things under one roof here and the do great sales where you can pick up a bargain. On the first floor there a new Superdrug and Game which opened not that long ago and they look really well. Its a shames more good new stores haven't followed their lead. If you fancy a break while you're head hed to starbucks on the first floor, but expect a long wait to get served.
