Village Hotel Liverpool

For the price of the rooms I expected much more. Beds are not comfortable, walls paper thin; I could hear every word of the next rooms conversation and snoring.

Food was tolerable at best, staff friendly enough but not enough of them. Only a single waitress on the first night leading to extremely slow service as she ran around every table.

Nice hotel. The gym is very well equipped, the pool is a nice size. The rooms are very clean and the staff are friendly.
The resteraunt has a nice choice and is well priced.

When I stayed at here the beds were very comfortable and the room service was great. The food was cooked beautifully and the waiting time wasn't long at all. They were exceedingly accommodating when asked for little extras, such as coleslaw with the steak and even kindly retuned with a bucket of ice, which I greatly appreciated.
Staff were friendly, in the evening at least. The next morning at breakfast everything seemed to have changed. The staff became ruder and the breakfast was well below par and basically pretty disgusting. After experiencing such a gorgeous meal with room service and I suspect that the restaurant would have been as good, I was shocked that the breakfasts were so bad.
So skip the breakfast if you stay here!
