This is actually a really lovely well kept park, with an aviary, children's play areas (of multiple intended ages) a bowling green, memorials, cafe, the shelters and glasshouse- which I think are listed. There's a splashpad that gets busy in the summer, and the river runs through it (and does occasionally flood the lower parts of the place).
It's always maintained very well, and is a much prettier shortcut in to the main town from the train station or Tesco. It's undergoing some work at the moment too, so expect it will be fresh again for hopefully a virus free summerHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (sailin…)Stoke-on-Trent39428 Nov 2009
On a summers day there's nothing nicer than sitting in the Victoria Park. The park has some beuatiful gardens.
With the river running through the park you can sit and feed the birds or ducks.
If it's the summer season get an ice cream from the stand and sit and relax. I love it here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (pumpki…)Bedworth, Warwickshire1312335 Jul 2008
This place is beautiful. So much greenery. A well-presented park in Stafford town centre opposite Stafford Rail Station. The park offers a great playground for all ages and includes a small outdoor paddling pool. It is also a great location as it is close to other attractions such as Stafford Castle and the town centre where you can find The Ancient High House Museum.

Lovely park, lots of grass, winding paths, trees, flowers, a river, ducks, a bowling green, play area, ice cream stall in the summer, and aviaries. Very nice for chilling out after a meal in town.

This is a well presented and well laid out park in the centre of stafford. There are gardens to look at, birds, play areas for young and older children. There is also a paddling pool that is filled during high season. The only problem I see with it is that the fence by the little play area doesn't go all the way across by the river, so it can be a little dangerous.

it is a lovely welcome to the town, a good green space, and nice and clean. my favourite part is definately the aviary - although I think they could do with a bit more attention. it was great even in the rain - but i would go back in the summer :)
