Vesuvio

Vesuvio was an excellent choice for dinner. The people and service were great. I had the eggplant as a starter and ravioli as a main dish. Both were excellent. The tiramisú for dessert was very good as well.

Definitely one of the best meals we had in Italy! If the 5-course tasting menu doesn't knock your socks off, the view will! My boyfriend and I came for dinner and ate on the terrace so we could watch the sunset, and it was an unforgettable experience.
We decided to try the 5-course tasting menu for €69 (there's also a 4-course options for €55) and the food was absolutely amazing. Our dinner consisted of eggplant parm, some kind of fish with fennel and berries, pumpkin tortellini, veal, and tiramisu. My favorite was the veal--it was so easy to cut and came with delicious onion jam. My boyfriend loved the tiramisu, it's a unique take on the classic dessert and was full size rather than tasting size. We each also got a glass of house wine, as drinks are not included in the tasting menu but you can add wine pairings for an additional charge.
If you're in Sorrento we would highly recommend stopping by, even for a drink to enjoy the view. The hotel also has a Sky Bar above the restaurant that we didn't get a chance to try but would be awesome for drinks!

My husband and I dined here during our trip to Italy to celebrate our babymoon. We were randomly searching for an upscale restaurant with beautiful views, and I am SO HAPPY we came here. My husband and I chose the 5 course "Surprise Me" dinner option, and WHAT AN INCREDIBLE MEAL WE HAD!!!! Every bite was delicate, flavorful, cooked to perfection, and a feast for the eyes. We sat on our their outdoor terrace, and it was such a romantic place to be overlooking the sea. My husband was impressed with their sommelier's attention to detail, and the chef was incredible. My husband and I were so enamored with the ambiance and dinner..... it was the BEST meal we've EVER HAD together! Molto Bene, Vesuvio!

I am not sure if the name is Sky Bar or Vesuvio Roof but it's at the top floor of Hotel Mediterráneo.

Good food. Good love music. Perfect sunset. Good drinks. A great experience. The perfect welcome. I suggest you make a reservation to come and watch the sunset. Bring a light jacket for later in the evening.
Everyone speaks English ok. And service was nice and efficient.
Dress to impress if you want. I did not :)

Amazing restaurant looking to Vesuvio, menu fully explained by great wait staff and further explained when it arrives at the table. Sommelier spit on with wine suggestions.
This is a must do in Sorrento

Excellent and attentive waitstaff. We order a few drinks and they amazed us by preparing right beside the table. They also surprised us with a few sweets too!

Beautiful atmosphere! Sauverio was helpful and pleasant. He made our experience special.

The views are awesome although we couldn't sit outside because it was too cold.

Phenomenal food and impeccable service. My wife and I enjoyed a 4 course dinner on the patio overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Every course we had was delicious and the staff was beyond helpful and gracious. We would certainly recommend this restaurant.

The best food in Sorrento!! This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. They had our table prepared on the gorgeous rooftop, incredible view!! The lamb and potatoes were cooked to perfection. The chocolate gelato was superb. My aunt had the tasting menu and loved it! We were there to celebrate a birthday, they had the cake nicely prepared and customized. The service blew me away. They are so professional, welcoming and helpful!! I highly recommend coming here.
