Underwood Lockhouse is located in Bonnybridge on the waterside of the Forth and Clyde Canal.
It is a lovely pub with a range of beverages and pub food. The Lockhouse is popular with passing walkers, cyclists and boaters from the cannal, providing a welcome break and refreshment on their journey. On a nice day you can sit outside at one of the tables and watch the swans as they glide by on the water. The canal traffic is usualy light but you may see a boat passing, perhaps heading for the Falkirk Wheel which is not far away. It is also a good starting point if you wish to visit the Antonine Wall.
The Underwood also houses Passage To India,a lovely resturaunt serving a selection of Indian and European dishes which are tasty and reasonably priced.
Staff are courtious and helpfull and it has a good, relaxed atmosphere.
