The only reason I ever visit the Twenty Pence Garden Centre is for the amazing cake that is served in the cafe! Whilst I do enjoy having a look around at the gardening items, as well as the gift section containing books, sweets and more, the cafe, to me, is the heart of the garden centre. The staff there are very friendly and will answer any questions I have about the selection of cakes. They often make cakes that I have never heard of before, such as a Dime Bar Cheesecake. The servings are generously sized, and the prices are fair. It has a large seating area so you are always sure to find somewhere to sit.
A nice independant garden centre in the village of Wilburton. It has a very good cafe who do both light lunches and cakes and also carvery every Tuesday and Sunday. The cakes are lovely and good value. The garden centre itself has a good selction of everyday plants and some more unusual.
