If you find yourself at London Bridge in need of some dinner, don't be lured in here by the cheap prices and clean, bright interior.

      Pros:
      1. Cheap.
      2. Food not horrible.

      Cons:
      1. Drafty
      2. Atmosphere/decor - like being locked overnight in a kitchen diner showroom in the eighties.
      3. Stale poppadoms, shop-bought mango chutney with weird *chewy* little lumps of fruit. Only two measly portions of chutney, no chopped up onion and cucumber (my favourite.
      4. Aforementioned poppadoms came in a horrible, cream-coloured plastic faux basket. I am surprised how much this gave me the creeps. What's wrong with real baskets? I love real baskets. Who goes to the trouble of moulding textured, faux willow, then weaving it into a basket? Why why why? So very ugly and sad. Possibly this is a personal thing...! This is not included in my star rating, as that would be mad.
      5. Main course tasted of salt and chilli but no other spices. Very bland.
      6. Service extreeeeeeeeeeeeemely slow.
      7. I was hurried to pay the bill at the end even though the restaurant was empty and I was reading my book and finishing my cuppa

My wife and I ended up here on one of our honeymoon nights after seeing London Bridge. The interior was a basic color and decor uninvasive. We are happier when there aren't too many religious idols and icons scattered about in Indian restaurants, so that was nice.

Ordered Paneer Makhani to share, with samosas. Everything was delicious, especially the paneer blocks we found in the curry. The waitress was very helpful; however, she said it wouldn't be spicy and it did actually turn out to be. All in all, a good dinner place for us!

We wound up here after walking out of nearby Simply Indian (No booze!? How do you eat Indian food with no beer!?). The interior is bright and inviting, and despite being extremely short-staffed, we were greeted immediately and shown to a table. The owner was doubling as our waiter this evening, and was managing all the customers in the place, so service was a bit slow, but certainly not bad.

The food was delicious. We started with Onion Bhaji that were quite good, nice and crunchy and full of flavor, but the star was the Chili Paneer. We could not stop eating it, even after we said we were going to save some to have with our meal. For the main we decided on Chicken Tikaa Masala and Goan Fish Curry with Palau rice and Peshwari Naan. It was all good and we stuffed ourselves.

I would definitely go here again if I find myself in London anytime soon!

I'm really surprised about the other review, as our experience was quite positive. We had lunch there one day last week and every aspect was great; the interior was lovely, it was spotless, our server was *wonderful* and the flavors of the food were really good. I had the dal bukara rice dish (red lentils with rice) and my husband had the coconut curry dish. The bill (not including tip) came to 13.98 pounds.

Delicious. Higly recommend this place. Will definitely return next time I'm in London, to explore the menu a bit further. The shrimp curry was exquisite, as was the sag paneer. We had a good Rose along with dinner, followed by the obligatory Kingfisher, and everyone was happy.

Super friendly service, dishes don't come with rice though but they're very filling. The servers are really nice, they chatted with me while I ate and tried to give me tips on sights to see in London. Compared to all the places I've dined in, this was the one that felt the least like a tourist trap and was the most affordable.

Its just one of those restaurants I couldn't get on with. The restaurant was clean and bright, but the table menu was a struggle to follow. We are used to ordering main dishes and side dishes, but here you had to order the side dishes from the main course vegetarian. Things were so bad I had to take a trip outside to check the menu in the window, which was slightly easier to follow. Unfortunately we had communication problems with the waiter. Still I couldn't fault the food although it wasn't quite what I had expected, and not quite the silver service you get at the norm.

The BEST Indian food I've ever had. I told my server I wanted to move to London just to be able to eat it.
