This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! It's located right next to the chateu and the beautiful garden!
The minute I stepped into the lobby, I fell in love. I felt like a princess :3
When you first walk in, you'll notice a little room to your left after you pass the stairs and elevators, that's where the front desk is located at. There are chairs and juice located there for guests. And let me tell you, THE JUICE IS DELICIOUS! It's a mix of pear and apple juice. YUM!
When you step in the elevator, you'll notice how small and tiny it is. AND SUPER HOT. I think it's because of the light bulb, but oh wells. There's 2 elevators for guests to use and service elevator.
The rooms are large and lovely! They are well decorated and very spacious. The bathroom is huge as well! The bathroom in my room was a duel sink kind and it had a balcony in the bathroom and in the bedroom! One thing I didn't like about the bathroom was how the bathtub was designed. It's a shower/bathtub, but the facet was confusing. There were way too many knobs and on top of that, there's no shower curtains, so whenever I use the shower head, it'll always get the floors wet. So, I ended up using the detachable shower head that's right before the actual shower head.
The bed is very comfy! And there's a fireplace right below the tv too!
This hotel has a spa area, two gyms, and a beautiful indoor swimming pool. BUT BEWARE! There's a lot of dead bees and bugs in the swimming pool...
There's complimentary breakfast every morning. You need to tell them your room number before you get seated. Odd... Oh wells, and the food there is pretty good. I heard the yogurt is really good! So, try the strawberry yogurt! What I really liked the most is how we can tell them how we want our eggs/omelet and the chef will bring it to your table. AND THE ORANGE JUICE! FRESH SQUEEZE!
There's also free wifi for those with hhonors. But there's a lot of mosquitos in the lobby! No matter how close or far you are from the main doors, you'll still get bitten!
But overall, I LOVE THIS PLACE! I definitely want to come back!!

My stay here was deeply disappointing. Deeply, deeply disappointing. There are depths in my heart and soul that I didn't even know existed - and they were irreparably injured during my stay at the Waldorf Astoria Trianon Palace.
So many things were bad. Our room lacked many basic items that rooms should come furnished with. And when we asked the front desk for them, they never arrived. After waiting 45 minutes, we dejectedly called the desk again and were given some excuse or another.
I should point out that excuses given in French, while slightly more alluring than those given in English, still don't address the problem and only serve to make me weep well into the night.
The breakfast food was pretty bad. The eggs, for instance. Let me clarify: the "eggs." I don't know what sorts of cuisine alchemy goes on in the kitchens of the Trianon Palace, but their voodoo produced terrible, terrible eggs. The kind of eggs that feature prominently in the nightmares of poultry farmers.
I can't stop shuddering.
I don't mind paying a premium for a wonderful hotel stay. I do mind, however, paying a premium for a terrible stay.
I had my heart set on a fabulous time in Versailles, as the ghost of Marie Antoinette's giggles wafted through the air. Instead, my hopes were dashed and the staff didn't care, and I don't think I'll ever trust the Waldorf Astoria again. Even if I were stranded in the desert without water, and the Waldorf Astoria pulled up in a fancy car and offered me a jug of Evian - I would probably decline and wait for someone else.

if it was not for the excellent responsive service this place will not deserve more than 1/2 star . the food was terrible , not average, not bad , it was terrible. the fish was very salty , chewy and even with the great presentation still tasted terrible. I am surprised that it have a Michelin star???
the best thing is the excellent attentive service, if only they make good food in addition
this review is about the restaurant

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE!!!
If i ever go back to versailles, I am forsure staying here again!
Let's see where do I even start?! Once you walk to the front desk to check in, you are greeted with what i call King Juice. This juice is a mix of pear and apple juice, and just so refreshing! Now the rooms. The rooms are clean and spacious. And you're greeted with macarons. I dont know about you, but i love me some good macarons! The view was nice from all rooms that our family had. However took me awhile to figure out how to work the shower since you can either use the handheld shower head or the attached to the ceiling shower head OR the faucet that just runs water for a bath. But honestly you mess with the thing for a minute and it's not a problem.
Location: Trianon palace is located right next to the palace. You literally walk out the gates, turn right and into the gates to the park and you'll be exposed to a huge mass of land that include animals that were descendants from back in marie antoinette's time, the petit and grand trianon, the gardens, the chateau and everything else of their time. I was seriously impressed and fell in love instantly with versailles! Not to mention how safe I felt and because of the close location you can have a nice job around versailles giving yourself your own tour. Also you can rent bikes right behind the gate if you would rather bike around the area.
Amenities: There is a spa, two gyms, a beautiful indoor swimming pool, and outdoors sun area where you can get your tan on.
Food: Breakfast was good with a variety of juices and food to choose from. You can get freshly cooked eggs to already made meats and eggs along with freshly cut fruits and baked goods. We had the opportunity to try dinner at the same restaurant where breakfast is served and they allowed us to create our own menu since we had a big party.
Service: It was just delightful! Room was always clean and all staff were friendly :]

My bf and I stayed here while visiting the Château de Versailles and while we were hugely impressed with the Gordon Ramsay restaurant, the hotel itself was a bit disappointing.
1. Very friendly staff. Everyone made us feel like we were very welcome guests, attending to our every need.
2. Great location. The closest hotel you could want for visiting the Chateau.
3. Amazing restaurant (saving this for another review)
1. "Garden view" was a view of the small courtyard in between the two wings. Misleading, because I thought the view would be of the Chateau gardens.
2. Horrible bathroom design. The bathroom was interesting in design, but not functional. The shower was literally in the middle of the bathroom, with no shower curtain, and everything got wet and the floor was a huge big puddle (due to no dip in the floor to allow for faster draining). Also, the sink was way too low, even for a short person like me. Weird.
3. Air-con was broken.
4. Many of the outlets were broken.

This hotel is just so wonderful!!!! I love how its only a 10-20 minute walking distance to the chateu and to its garden! The hotel also has a beautiful little garden of its own. The rooms are beatiful. The only concern I had was the shower. It was soo fancy! It had so many knobs so it took me a while to fugure out which knob goes to which shower faucet. My shower also didnt have any curtains so, eventhough the shower head was next to a wall, it still splashed out the tub and got the floor wet. Downstairs has wifi (free for those with hhonors) but yiu have to beware of the mosquitos at night if you go down to use the wifi. They have deliccciiooouusss orange juice for breakfast. Everything else for breakfast is okay but I looked forward to the orange juice every morning. The croissants were good! The staff have good english and very very nice to you. It is also 30 mins away, walking, from the train station. Convenient if yourr thinking of heading to paris. Overall, if there was any place I would stay in france, near paris, itd be here. Its away from the paris-tourist crowd and the city is just much more peaceful and needed for a vacation.

We were visiting some family near Versailles and found this hotel on the American Express travel site. They had a great price, $179/night so we chose it. Little did we know we would be staying at the base of Versailles in a fabulously chic and well-appointed fancy hotel. Each person we met along the way who asked where we were staying said, "Oh, but of course, the finest!" It was a little embarrassing since we aren't usually so showy! Really..we were being cheap! The price couldn't be beat.

We stayed there this August and had dinner in their bistro because Gordon Ramsey's restaurant was closed for summer holiday. The hotel itself was wonderful with modern tasteful decor and sumptuous towels and amenities. The bistro however was extremely disappointing. It was very expensive (500 euros for 4 people) so we expected a level of sophistication. They dropped plates, the table wobbled, and the food was a mash up Americanized cuisine full of sugar. Not worth it and very disappointing

My wife and I celebrated our Anniversary at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant, 'Au Trianon', locates inside Trianon Palace. Our experience was an unforgettable evening of impeccable, top notch food inside one of the most elegant, comfortable dining rooms I have ever seen. The hotel itself is equally breath taking and beautiful. The beautiful palace is located along the north side of Versailles down a quite country drive. It's located among one of the most charming and warm setting overlooking the Versailles country side. If you get a chance to visit and enjoy a dinner here, start saving now and prepare yourself for a one of a kind experience.

My husband used his Hilton Honor points for our January stay at the Waldorf Astoria. Just a hop, skip and jump to the Palais de Versailles and a short walk to town, it offered a nice change of scenery from Paris, but access able through the Saint Lazar train station. Our room was fabulous with a lovely view of the surrounding rooftops, small courtyard and skyline. Big comfy king bed and very well appointed bathroom including large bathtub. The Trianon Restaurant was very pleasant and the food was delicious. We ordered an appetizer/dinner/dessert combination and were pleasantly surprised at the sophistication of the meal. Top notch service from the staff especially the a.m. Maitre d, who was lovely. Concierge was exceedingly helpful in getting us to and fro our various adventures. Lovely grounds including views of pasture filled with sheep and horses in the distance. Overall a very pleasant experience. Would come back again anytime!
