"What's to say. The best tapas this side of Andalucía"
Reviewed 3 April 2014 via mobile
This is gonna be short. Simply turn up, tell them what you don't like and they'll concoct a tapas menu to your liking that will fill you to the gunnels and blow your socks off. The food is simply superb!
However, one thing that does differ from Seville is the service. No grumpy Espnól Hombré here. You'll get a full explanation of the dishes delivered with Spanish charm and a touch of Scottish humour - superb :)

This place is truly excellent! This food is authentic and to die for. There is no menu, instead a set amount of tapas comes out for your to sample, providing more than enough food for your meal. They're very accommodating with food allergies and likes and dislikes. The atmosphere is quaint and only adds to the phenomenal food. They have an extensive list of spanish beers and wines that are also very good. The service was helpful and friendly and the prices were very reasonable! I highly recommend this restaurant!
Love, love, love it here! The staff are so friendly, the food is really delicious and there's so much of it! It's amazing value for money. We went on a Monday night and hadn't booked. The upstairs restaurant was full but the staff were great and got us a table in the downstairs bar (I actually preferred the decor in the bar). The whole experience was so good and I can't recommend highly enough. I'll be back every time I'm in the area.
Some of the best tapas I've ever had in this place above The Fisherman's in Broughty Ferry. I can highly recommend.
Absolutely gorgeous food!
Were in Dundee for one night only and found this place by accident - luckily.
Every single dish was very good, but be careful, the portions are quite big.
In Hamburg we have lots of Tapas bars, have tried quite a few of them, The Tapas Bar Dundee is surely one of the best, if not THE best. Just a few dishes I would have liked to see on the menu were missing, but we were still very pleased.
Very friendly staff too!Had a nice chat with the waiter - probably sounds a bit funny, a German and an Englishman having a chat in Denglish with the Spanish waiter (who had studied in Germany before) in a Tapas bar in Scotland lol. Probably as multi-cultural as you can get.
