What a find! down a not so nice side street in Knighsbridge(don't wander down this street at night), the salon is basic but does what it says on the tin.  I use this salon regularly and as such have got to know the girls who staff this establishment who are lovely and welcome me each time and recognise me as a loyal customer when it comes to buying treatments (a little discount always makes me smile!).

Dingy place located in a smart Knightsbridge address.

I went yesterday to have a lymphatic massage, which you would imagine that it implies having a massage of some sort. Instead, what I had was a compression therapy session. I had had this done several times a few years ago, so I am quite familiar with it and its equipment.

This equipment was completely run down and it didn't cover the highest part of my thighs and my hips, which it should have. The feet parts were open (I am not sure if this is ok, but the ones I had previously used were completely closed). Also, the thick belt that covers the stomach was not tight at all and it felt like it was not doing anything. I did mention this but I was told that this was normal (I know it isn't!) There were parts of the material that looked kind of broken.

All in all, it was a quick 'Hello, what is your name?', 'go in this room', I finish the session, and 'bye, see you'

A drink would have been nice, or just some sort of acknowledgement other than you have already paid for this, here you go, now bugger off.

As you can see, not impressed.

I'm always a bit of a nervous wimp when it comes to waxing but I've clearly been going to all the wrong places! I had a g-string strip wax and it was almost completely painless. I am used to having 17 year olds attempting to make awkward conversation over my yelping, but this Irish beautician lady was so chatty and honest she completely put me at ease, we actually had a laugh while she was whipping my pubes out. So cheap as well, it was better than the lunch date I'd just come from. Highly recommended!
