This is the real deal. Great beer and whisky selections. Bartender was friendly. The place has a good feel to it. What else do you need in a Scottish pub?
I watched Sunday NFL football here. Or at least I started to watch NFL football before I was chased out of the bar by angry Scotts. I jest. Germany was playing Scotland in a European qualifier and they started packing the place a few minutes before their game started and my teams were not faring too well so I decided to give up my prime seating for other more devoted fans.
The games are all pre-selected by management so don't bother asking to change the channel after the sign goes up in the window! Maybe asking a week in advance would help?
They put on the sound from the soccer game so that is at least a possibility.
All in all, it is a comfortable place to watch the game and have a pint (6.5 - 8 euro depending on what you have). And I would be remiss if I didn't mention the bartender. I didn't catch his name but he was extremely friendly and helpful.
A wee corner of Scotland right in the heart of Paris.
Freidnly bar with a great owner filled mainly by expats looking for a bit of gab and a laugh.
Some good malts but being so small stocks can be limited. Well worth a visit for any Scots in Paris and wanting to talk football.
Owner is Aberdonian so leave yer sheep at home ;o)
