A friend took us here while we were visiting from the States. You know, I really liked this place. It has the BEST seafood linguini you'll ever have (way better than the ones I had in Rome). The service was pub-service standard. The place is really cute though. I loved the decor. I prefer the bottom level because it's away from the bar and there's more dining area. We sat in the decorated courtyard and enjoyed our meal. It's very quaint, very personable. There's definitely a sweet atmosphere here.
This pub is named, for those of you who haven't read the Daily Mail in the last ten years, after Diana Princess of Wales, who died in a car accident in 1997. She was considered an icon, and many different things have taken her name in homage. This pub has done a pretty good job at upstanding the name and is a nice enough place to consider taking your family to as well, even if the clientele are a little rough the furniture, decor and general aura is friendly enough. There aren't many pubs around here at all, I will say that, and being situated near the Stratford Centre is very good geographically, because there is nothing better then a pint after shopping in London. A decent place.
Just moved to London with my wife while she goes to school here so we went out with our local friends for karaoke night and to enjoy some beers. From the get go the whole experience sucked. The owner made us feel unwelcome and the staff was unfriendly. Will not recommend to anyone traveling or locals either.
Not my most favorite pub in Stratford maybe I went in on a bad day, the beer was ok the staff were ok but there was a bit of a dodgy atmosphere in there I don't know if there had been a argument in there earlier so maybe will have to try this one another day.
