    Superficially good, but dreadful! Avoid!

It started poor and didn't get any better!
Not even sure where to start, so I'll start at the beginning.

Room was a twin, not double as booked.
Although clean and looks okay, the chain on the door was missing/broken and the button on the shower.
Went for dinner to find East Enders blaring out of the TV at uncomfortable volume.
Long wait for bar service (15 minutes) - one member of staff available.
Queue jumped while at bar ordering a drink, even though only 3 people waiting.
Queue jumped again while ordering food, to take an order from restaurant staff.
50 minute wait for food to arrive
    Fillet Steak cremated,
Sauce missing which took asking three staff members and visit to the bar to resolve.
Sauce finally arrived after 10 minutes so the food was now cold
Sauce was burnt to inedible and served in a blisteringly hot mini metal cup with no handle
Staff failed to clear tables full of used plates, even though they were en route back with nothing in their hands.
My plates were still on the table over an hour later when I left
Nobody asked if my food was okay
Couldn't find a manager to complain too, had to get reception to schedule a call to my room
Provided with a drinks voucher after complaining, which arrived with a double misspelling of my name and dated to be used in 24 hours (which I was unable to do, so was useless)
Key card failed day two and needed re-programming..

To finish off the stay with style, I discovered the water drainage grill was dangerous when it moved into the hole exposing a sharp edges, cutting my toe open to leave a nasty gash!
On checkout nobody asked how my stay was, probably just as well as I was livid and ready to burst!

Final note - if you have the misfortune to stay here then I suggest you go up the road to the pub/restaurant opposite Morrison's.
They had fabulous staff, food and drinks are half the price and very well made/cooked.
