This is the restaurant in the former "Peverel Hotel" on North Hill and it comes highly recommended by me and others. My family have been wowed by the place for sometime and I now see why they rate it so highly. Beautifully decorated, spacious and airy with an area outside (non-smoking) for al fresco dining.
Very carefully prepared and well presented, the food is first rate and the service equally as impressive. Colchester has long needed a good restaurant serving traditional English dishes and we now have one here. Don't miss the experience of dining in a "one off" restaurant, away from the awful chain eating houses nearby.
