Great service by friendly staff. This pub restaurant is famed for its great carvery which it serves every day for a very reasonable fee. The Yorkshire puddings are massive and all the veg is well cooked. The staff are always good with regards to vegetarianism and offer great alternatives to the beef, ham or chicken available. I'd highly recommend the mushroom and spinach wellington thing.
Just dont order pudding, you wont need it!

Disappointing food- lukewarm meat and overcooked veg. Gravy was good, mash tasted like it was made with gone off milk. Fair selection of beers at the bar though.

This is a great place to come for a carvery. It is priced at about £8 and you get the biggest Yorkshire Puddings you are ever likely to see! But seriously, the food is really good and this is probably my favourite place in Plymouth to go to for a carvery. There is also a hotel/lodge attached for any travellers.

This pub is best known for its carvery which is served daily. The carvery is very good with three different types of meats and the vegetables are all fresh. The service is very quick when not busy but you can't prebook so Sunday lunchtimes especially get hectic. The price is very reasonable and the car park is huge. One word of warning - there are comical pictures all over the walls which might get your typical 8 - 10 year old giggling!

A Toby carvery pub beside huge very busy traffic light controlled commuter intersection and under flight path into Jannerdrome airport. Some childrens play facilities.

Good value for money. The staff are friendly and the place is clean and well maintained. The food is reasonable although the choice is limited.
